Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary Airport Trail NE, an IHG Hotel

It was quite a good stay. But the sheets have stains and falling hair on it. Which was the issue of our first room.. but we choose to transfer to another room. The crib was also not available and no follow ups after I asked them since we have an infant.

Have stayed here before was good. So was this stay until the morning when I found alot of gross things I did not see the night before. Food on floor from past guest, hair on what should of been a clean bath matt etc. Housekeeping has really slipped here, sorry to see. I stay at alot of hotels for work and hands down this was the worst Holiday Inn for clean in western Canada. Will not be back, too many other hotel choices in the area that are clean.

We (family of four - 2 kids, 2 adults) had a quick overnight stay for connecting flights. This hotel was an excellent selection for us. Free, very quick and efficient shuttle bus to and from the airport, very quick and smooth check-in process and a great quality room. The hotel is brand new and everything about our room was awesome. Built in blackout blinds, comfortable beds, adjustable room temperature. We had to leave before breakfast but the hotel put together a breakfast bag for each of us - fruit, yogurt, bagel, muffin. Just enough to get us through the early morning. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Reduced breakfast hours to save cost is bad. I have never seen in my life such reduced breakfast start timings in a hotel:weekdays 6:30 and weekends 7:00 AM.To management: your receptionist who left at 7:00 AM on June 25th needs big time training as she is not fit for hospitality industry. She was going inner office time and again to check her phone and was ignoring guests. Even when one guest said Good morning to her nicely, she responded back rudely saying yes only.Your breakfast server should be in at least 15 minutes before the serving time to fill up everything including tea leaves and creamer.She just walked in at 6:57.She should be friendly and little bit of smile will be much appreciated!
