Amethyst Gift Centre
I popped in during my visit to Thunder Bay. I loved the large selection, and different sizes. The owner took the time to refresh the stone I chose and then shine a light on it to show me the layers and range of colors of the piece I purchased. It was a great experience. I also suggest if you visit the shop invest some time at the museum quality showcase. These are very unique pieces that are not for sale but will eventually be donated to museums.

Don't let the location scare you, although the part of town might look a bit run down, the shop itself was a great experience with a great selection and a lot of really interesting pieces. Very friendly employee was able to answer our questions today!

If you can't make it out to mine your own at their other location this shop is just the ticket! I got a lovely necklace and suncatcher. The staff was very helpful with her suggestions!

In a very questionable part of town. As two women felt a little uncomfortable. Prices were extremely high. Very disappointing.

Its a great experience and such a worthy stop to make. The pieces of amethyst are breathtakingly beautiful, and many different items to choose from, to fit every budget..The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to accomodate every shopping need. The amethyst displays are worth viewing and could be said to be one in a million. We will definitely go again, and recommend others to do the same, you won't be disappointed.A once in a lifetime experience and so worth it.

Dream come true for me. Traveled from outside of Toronto just to experience this. The kids loved it and so did I. My collection coming home is so beautiful and unique. Fantastic family run business

I had my boyfriend's family visiting from Hearst, his mom wanted to purchase some Amethyst since it's not something they have out east. We went here at 11am and they were closed with no note on the door as to why. They were fairly upset since we made sure to check the hours and should have been open for a while already. We ended up going to Wojo's Mojo, who had an amazing collection of amethyst and other stones. The woman there was also very friendly and kind. Very cool store with lots of interesting finds. Recommend going to Wojo's Mojo for any amethyst purchases, since they were open when they said they were, are friendly, and have a great selection.

We had a great visit and enjoyed all the information and beautiful amethyst. It was great to see the behind the scenes" of how the amethyst is cut and polished. The items for sale are diverse and there is something for everyone. Definitely recommend a stop here!"
