Makerplace. Bring your own wood/metal, glue and/or screw and build something. I have been a member for years and plan to be one for a longer time. They have most tools for woodworking and quite a few for metal work with a small forge. Also 3d printer and laser engraver.

The dream space: a coop opened 5 years ago that actually took the decision to buy the land and the building through a long-term mortgage. A huge space that used to be a paint shop transformed in multiple workshops: sewing, cooking (to be built), woodworking, paint and laser engraving, metal and finishing. In addition, tool rental (for home use) and a bicycle self-repair workshop. Parking and gardens too. Me and Angdi joined on the spot. The lifetime membership is 30$, 10$ annual membership and 5$ an hour workshop rental (max 30$ per day). Safety training is 20$.

Un endroit unique à Québec. En plein Limoilou, vert atelier collectif permet d'accéder à une tonne d'outils que le limoilois ne peut avoir dans son petit appartement. Une boîte à outils à s'approprier par tous et toutes.
