Green Emerald Construction

These guys have been working on putting in a street and utilities for postage stamp size lots for three years in Sicamous. For the past four months they have been tearing up what they did last year and laying in another street with a bobcat and a tiny excavator. They have dug up the same areas three times and redone there work. No regard for the surrounding homes and total lack of dust control. They race around in circles creating dust storms and don't appear to ever make any progress. Looks like a gong show.Not any attempt to mitigate their impact on the residents.I have seen entire subdivisions built out to completed homes in less than half the time. With the proper equipment they could have done the whole thing in a month.

I have worked for Green Emerald Construction for close to 5 years. Unfortunately I had to relocate for personal reasons. This is one of the finest companies I had worked for. They treat employees and customers with respect and care. Their attention to detail and high quality made it enjoyable and relaxed environment. I had them develope my walk out lower level to our log home. Also they updated our deck and put in log deck supports instead of the 6×6 posts.They did an amazing job and we couldn't be more happy with the results.

We purchased our home from Gary ( Green Emerald Construction ) in June 2016, the house was not finished so Gary let us put our finishing touches on it. He was very helpful and professional through out the whole process. We are very pleased with the house and love the location. Thanks Gary

Gary Arsenault and the Green Emerald team built our custom house in 2016/17. They met all our requirements and completed the project on time. We love our neighbourhood and living in the Shuswap in our new house.

Here is a review we have just received from some of our wonderful clients:Building a custom home with Green Emerald was a first for us. We had never designed and built a custom home before and had never lived in the Shuswap region before. We placed our trust in Green Emerald Construction and 12 months later, we had a beautiful, quality built, forever home. Gary and Marilla were terrific to work with. Impressively, they answered their phones and shared their expertise with patience and friendliness. Their ideas and advice proved sound and have added to the enjoyment of our home.We are particularly happy with the Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) that were used in the building of our home. We can feel the difference between our house and a frame constructed house. Our SIP built home feels more cozy and comfortable. Previously, we lived in a 1487 square foot rancher on a crawl space on the West Coast. Our current house built with SIP construction is 3482 square feet with a basement and many large windows. I compared the gas bills from each home over a period of 8 months. Six of the eight months we paid less for gas here in the Shuswap than we did for our smaller timber framed house on the coast. (The shoulder months were more expensive here in the Shuswap than on the coast as winter came sooner and lasted longer.)I am thrilled that Green Emerald uses SIP and that it has made such a happy difference in our heating costs. I would recommend to everyone who is building a home in Canada to use SIP construction.Gayle and Frank
