I ordered a poutine there and it was a very good size and it was delicious. The owners were in there and they were very kind and have a great sense of humour. It's great to see people running a business and having genuine passion for their work!

Great place for poutine. They are now open for the warm weather so check them out. It is important to note that you have to add salt or ask for the salt packets or you will not enjoy the poutine the right way. I would recommend them for sure !

Always fantastic fries! Great fresh cooked and generous portions. Yes they did raise prices for 2023, but who hasn't? Still very reasonably priced. 2023 menu attached! NOTE: Cash only. If you haven't tried S&S Fries, you don't know what you're missing!

The first time I went here, they didn’t put any salt on the poutine, so it wasn’t very good. Someone told me you have to ask for salt, so I decided to give it another try. It was a lot tastier this time and I must say, their gravy is one of the better I have tasted. My husband got the hotdog platter and was happy with it.

SO GOOD! Everyone time I come here, me and my family order the hotdog combos. The fries are some of the best, and the hotdogs were nice and crispy. Definitely recommend

S&S poutines never fail to impress! They are one of few spots that actually have great poutine in Ottawa that gets me going back every so often.Fries are always crispy and often even ones that have been covered in gravy. The curds are high quality and don’t melt immediately.As others have noted, they don’t heavily salt their poutine fries or gravy, which I actually prefer over extremely salty gravy. The gravy is nice and thick with a rich gooey consistency that prevents fries from immediately becoming soggy. I often ask for extra gravy layered in for a small extra charge, which lets me have abundant gravy for every bite of fry.

Fast service and fair prices. My boyfriend kept hyping up this place’s poutine but I found it pretty average. The poutine had crispy fries and a generous amount of cheese. The fries could’ve been more salted and the gravy lacked flavour.

Thick chips with the option for salt/vinegar halfway. I wish other places made fries the same way, a nice addition to barbeque dinners on lazy hot days. Note: Cash-only.
