Store is clean but entrance is awkward for choosing veggies. The same item is is multiple places. They have the secondary set if doors locked which is frustrating and the prices have gone way up. Like 5% more every one elses!The bakery is insanity..great yummy stuff but $8 for 6 muffins? That's just too much.

Fruit quality is BAD, I always bought on Safeway west end and never had a problem, but since I moved and I have to buy in this specific Safeway I realized the quality of the products is below normal.- Several times I had to return items since the expiration day was past.- The fruit section is... utterly disappointing and of bad quality, bought three different tipe of bananas (organin and non organic") coudn't eat a single one. To the trash more than 12 bananas since they´re green AF

I've never seen a east Indian security guard follow a east Indian while they shop. I think the time has come to acknowledge the bias racism acted by the east Indian security monopoly in vancouver. I don't appreciate being followed and filmed by racist security guards. Me and my family have been shopping at Safeway since we moved to Vancouver 45 years ago. It's not a very good experience to deal with this type of poor security management EVERYTIME I SHOP.

There was some very bad experiences I had at this Safeway. There were several employees that would make fun of my height every time I went in. And one time when I asked an employee to help me reach something, he yelled no. I was very hurt by this. Sadly I will never go back. The prices are so high anyways.

I recently started going here, and have nothing but great experiences. All the staff from the pharmacy, deli, to the cashiers I have interacted with have been so kind, friendly and helpful! I’ve left every time with a smile on my face.

My family and I were returning two bottles at customer service and the woman who was helping me was so rude. She spoke to us in a spiteful manner and was rushing to get complete the transaction. When we made the decision to come back to purchase two new bottles filled with spring water, she snapped at us saying “Why didn’t you just buy it earlier instead of returning the two bottles?” As she completed the transaction, she continued to belittle us and make more unnecessary comments. As someone who has worked in customer service, this interaction was very unwarranted and I will not be coming back.

Pretty much just like any other Safeway - absurdly overpriced but decent in every other way. If you shop the sales, you'll do fine. The parking is free and there's a pretty good amount of it, plus it's super close to skytrain if you don't drive. The staff seem super friendly and helpful, and the store seems clean and well stocked. Overall good, but the regular priced items are a joke compared to Superstore and Save On (but I know that's a problem with Safeway in general, nothing against this location).

I've been shopping often at this place because 15 mins away from my place and I have never had a problem and also a lot of good quality products, especially dairy, and frozen food. I'm thankful to Hmber he is a very kind and good person because he believe me when I brought out the wrong merchandise on the floor. Thank you!

Customer service is horrible..!I went on June 5 2023 around 9:40pm and on the self checkout i was unable to scan yhe apples and the person who was at the service desk didn’t help. I asked for assistance to scan the item at it was loose apples, she just said to scan it even when i told her that its not scanning and yet no help and she didn’t even bother to help. I left the items with her and didn’t bother to purchase it from safeway. Thank you for such a delightful experience i wont be shopping from safeway ever.!

I've only been shopping at this store for roughly a month. So far I've been treated with respect and customer service has been great.Their pharmacy technician's have been very satisfactory in their customer service.Keep up the good work people
