They shut everything down 1 hour before the actual closing time to start cleaning up. So if you don't get there 1 hour before their actual closing time they won't make you ice cream.It's their Job to serve people up until closing. They shouldn't start cleaning up until their closed. But they obviously don't want to work after the doors are locked. So they technically shut down 1 hour before the actual closing time. Bad customer service and bait and switch policies. It's sad that this is what the customer service industry has turned into. Complete lack of respectful for people who are trying to support the bussiness. I won't be back.

I rarely go to Marble Slabs - until I took my son into the one on 130th! Thanks to the extraordinary ice cream experience provided by Ashely we came back again the week after. Again, we were treated to generous ice cream cones filled with our favorite toppings, super friendly customer service and a work around when the app didn't work so we could still get our discount! Now we're die hard fans!While there, I met Derek the owner, who took time to chat with me. This man goes to unth degree to keep his customers happy, which isn't easy these days with corporation head offices focused on profits and more profits. Derek treats his staff like family - and his customers like gold he doesn't want to lose. Derek and his Marble Slab team deserve our community support. Thank you Derek, Ashley, Amy, Arseni, Kasey and Kiah! Hope I didn't miss anyone. You all do a great job keeping customers happy.[The banana ice cream has real bananas and is delicious. Didn't think I'd like Green Apple but after a sample, I was sold. My husband resents the high prices so wouldn't go - until I bought him a liter of mint chocolate chip with almonds. He said he couldn't believe the difference in quality and the amount of chocolate chips. But the only Marble Slab we'd go to is 130th. Marble Slab corporate and the other locations could learn a lot about gaining and keeping customers from Derek and his team. }

Ordered a regular ice cream in a bowl and a custom litre. $30 of ice cream. The regular ice cream was so small it wasn’t even level with the container. Complete rip off. Why bother weighing out the portions if they don’t even remotely look like the portions on their own website and pictured throughout the store. Go elsewhere.

Ashley - thank you for the awesome ice cream experience! This is the ONLY Calgary location we will go to. You went the extra mile to make our custom cones EXACTLY like we asked.When we walked into the store, we were prepared to walk out again and cross Marble Slab stores off our go-to treats list. At other locations we'd tried, we got such miserly ice cream portions for an 8.00 cone, the whole thing turned to complete mush when you add berries, carmel and topping.Not so with Ashley on 130th. Ashley set the gold standard for Marble Slab customer service - she actually cared enough to make sure we were Wowed. And yes, we told all our friends. What the world needs now is more people like Ashley in the front lines - and sitting on corporate executive boards!

I’ve cream was good but the service was painfully slow. We were the only customers and there was three of us. There were three staff working but only one of them was actually working. The other two just watched. So what should have taken a couple minutes took like 15. I was basically finished my ice cream by the time the third person in our group got there’s. no reason why the other two employees couldn’t jump in and work too.

My two teenager daughters and I just left the 130th location. The young man who served us couldn’t have been more rude. We felt like we had done something wrong just walking in the door. My girls were so uncomfortable, they didn’t want to order because he was so short with them.

I hosted an 80's dance party for 80 this month and Derek, owner of Marble Slab 130th, set us up with a Marble Slab Ice CreamSundae Bar. The ice cream flavors were pre-ordered and came ready to go in super freezer boxes along. Dance party volunteers took turns serving the mixin's and toppings at the Sundae bar we'd set up. It was a huge hit! Derek worked with my time frames and really went out of his way to make it possible to add this special highlight to a night of funtastic memories! I highly recommend adding the Marble Slab 130th Sundae Bar to your next event!

I've never been here before, I was actually insulted when I saw the tiny amount of ice cream, I asked for a large, I still could not believe the tiny amount of ice cream in the large-sized cup, (10 oz. apparently needs to be measured) or the size of the large cup for that matter, and the price, $10. Yogen Früz has a lot bigger cups. I see they have some bigger cups, I guess they are for the take-home flavours or something, I don't know how you can get them or why you would pay, I guess you can only get the tiny amount that fits in ice cream cones, and they always sell out, I guess. I seem to remember ice cream cones also being a lot bigger, weird. Then when I got home and ate my ice cream it had almost no flavour, only a hint of Bubblegum flavour trapped in pink ice-cream with a heavily-processed texture, not creamy at all, I would hesitate to call it ice cream, I came here for Bubblegum ice-cream, the ice-cream I had in mind was blue, this was pink, they keep it right beside the cotton candy ice cream, that's blue, after this I don't know why I would try it though. I could get over the size of the cups if the ice cream wasn't so bad. What is going on with this place?

We get the same combo every time: White Chocolate with raspberries, skor, and caramel sauce. Its the best.
