Very pleasant ride, clear directions. Very open and spacious

The only ferry terminal south of Vancouver serving the GVRD. Check ahead for schedules and reservations. Easy access by highway and public transit.

Pleasant staff. Great ferry service and scenic look out. Beautifully efficient and very easy to navigate timings.

For commercial travel to Vancouver Island besides flying this is the only alternative by road to get from Tsawwassen or Horseshoe Bay over to Swartz Bay or Duke Point/ Departure Bay.Schedules for departures generally punctual unless weather turns for the worse. Staff well trained to accomplish duties on board & terminal. Customer service again in general acceptable though some of us still occasionally complain due receiving some form of bad service.On board is Coastal Cafe also WhiteSpot to eat while enjoying views & popular retail souvenir shopping also perhaps get on your laptop and get some work done.My only complain is they frequently raise prices & at today's cost making us avoid travel unless we have too and that's why they see a decline inpassenger travel.Bottom line is without competition they reign supreme at oue expense.

If you’re planning to take the 620 bus, beware! They packed so many more people after I got on on Labour Day holiday. Only 5% of people are wearing masks. I would just take Uber rather than the bus. I don’t ever want to ride the bus again. Hopefully, I don’t get covid but wouldn’t be surprised if I do.

Booth employee was both pleasant and informative, and the kitchen staff on the Queen of Alberni’s Coastal Cafe (April 8th 12:45pm Duke Point to Tsawassen) was tremendous… they were cheerful, upbeat, and incredibly friendly. Also, the weather was brutal outside and the sea wasROUGH… yet somehow the captain of the ship was able to dock that boat with nary a bump! We were impressed. I know BC Ferries gets a bad rap sometimes, but I can guarantee you it’s not based on the experience I had this weekend !

Not made well looking at the infrastructure and the environment aswell.

I loved it, but I think it was missing vegan options for the food and I feel like it could have been a little bit cleaner at some places like the washrooms. Nice sunsets!

EXTREMELY RUDE TERMINAL LADY. A blonde lady who was interacting with us. This was our first experience booking and rudely told us we did two things wrong when we had zero experience. I think there could have been a little more grace and kindness with communicating how we booked wrongly. We were also only two minutes late and she abruptly told us she is cancelling our reservation for being two minutes late. It’s really unfortunately when people take their jobs for granted and they treat customers like this. I think this can be improved. I hope this can be rectified or that this does not happen again to other people.
