Best local park/dog park/off leash/beginner trails... Love The canal locks, kayaking between them is beautiful. So many cute furry friends to meet while walking. With your time.

I love going to this park for hikes with my family and going there in the summer, and going to the beach! There are so many different trails that you can go on for hours, you are also able to feed all the animals you're going to see, such as Chickadee's, Bluejays, Cardinals, and Squirrels, Chipmunks. There also is Dog trails, where you can let your dog run free off leash while on your walk, and there is also a beach just for the dogs too.

Lovely park for a walk or hike, especially in the springtime! The ducks were havjng babies and we saw several ducklings on our way down the trails. Don't feed the ducks!

I've been here too many times to count and it never stops amazing me how lucky we are to have such a little gem of a park nestled so close to the core of the city. Beautiful walking paths any time of the year, a fantastic paddle up the canal in the warmer months, and a great place to bring a dog to let them get some exercise. I haven't gone swimming here but judging by the amount of people that are here in the summer I assume it is a great little beach!

Such a great place to walk, either by yourself or with your SO, or even with a group. It can be busy on the weekends, but during the week it's fairly quiet.

Best park in Dartmouth. Lots of trails and walkways and gives the feeling of dense forest. Really tall trees over the head. Squirrels, ducks, birds can be spotted. Even though there are several boards says that not to feed these looks like they are very used to hand feed. A walk through the trails is definitely a stress relieving treatment.Kayaking also available for rent
