Physics and Math Online Tutor

My daughter used Julia’s tutoring service for grade 12 calculus and vectors during the lockdown when school was online. The semester was condensed into basically 6 weeks so there was a lot of information to learn in a short amount of time. Julia was most helpful, obviously knows her stuff and the curriculum. She was able to convey the ideas of calculus/vectors in an understandable way even though there was an enormous amount of work covered in the course. She was available whenever my daughter needed her. It was so nice to have this support especially during this challenging time. Thanks again Julia!

Julia is an excellent tutor. We were lucky to have found her just in time when my son was struggling to maintain his above 90 average in Grade 12 Physics - U. She was able to step right in and fill his knowledge gaps and helping him understand the concepts better. He loved that she explains with sketches that made a lot of sense.

Julia is an encouraging, patient, and engaging tutor who easily breaks down complex concepts and presents them in bite size, easy to understand terminology. Learning physics during the Covid 19 pandemic was extremely difficult due to highschool teachers not having the time to teach foundational physics concepts in depth, because of quadmester time restraints and the online format schools had adopted. After emerging from the pandemic, I still found Physics difficult to understand due to a lack of explanation of those fundamental concepts. After beginning sessions with Julia, I was able to understand concepts and problems on a deeper level as well as the “why” behind them. Upon transitioning to university physics with her help, I was able to thrive and receive marks at the top of my class. I highly recommend Julia as a Physics and Math teacher because she is compassionate, approachable and effective with her teaching methods.
