Kids Can Swim Canada: Purpose-Built Swim Schools for Children

A great way to jumpstart your child's swimming progress. Much more hands on and low ratio than public pools, which equates to faster learning. We went here because the public lessons were full, and stayed because of the higher quality of instruction.

Kids can swim is a great introduction to swimming for guardians and their little ones! We loved out experience with our child, who is so much more comfortable in the water after the lessons! I love the flexibility and easiness of their program and registration.

We've had our kids enrolled for 5 months. The facilities are great, clean and, being purpose built, completely suitable for young kids. The staff, especially the swim teachers, are wonderful. They are patient, and provide positive feedback on the kids progress.Because of covid our 4 year old missed the first stages of swim lessons and didn't have any skills for swimming. In a few months she's jumping right into the water, holding her breath, and floating on her own. She's made great progress, and loves her swim lesson day.

The teaching concept is very personalized to the individual child. I have noticed our child getting better every week. It is a gentle way to introduce swimming to any level. We love our teacher Jamie she amazing with the little ones. A+

My son had a bad experience at a pool in Florida over Christmas vacation. On our first lesson back he refused to go in the pool as he was terrified that he was going to drown. It was so upsetting for him and for me. The staff here were AMAZING. They came over right away and did everything they could to make him feel comfortable. At the next lesson he was still very hesitant to get in the water but one of the amazing instructors took time from her break to spend the whole 30 minutes working with him to get him comfortable while another member of staff sat with me to make sure I was ok too. The next lesson he was in the water! Now he’s back to loving being in the pool, all thanks to everyone here. 2 months later they still come and check on us at every lesson! I love it here and would highly recommend

Absolutely so impressed with Kids can Swim!! My daughter has been to 2 classes in the K1/K2 class, and I am already seeing improvements in her behaviour and confidence in the water. The courses are set up perfectly with a small ratio, and wonderful instructors who not only help the kids understand safety, but also actually seem to enjoy what they do.The facilities are clean and well cared for, and every member of staff we have interacted with are wonderful, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work!I will be recommending KCS to anyone who will listen!

We've tried most other swim lesson options, and finally tried Kids Can Swim Kanata after hearing great things from a friend. So glad we did! We've been taking lessons for 2 months and have already seen so much progress. Our kid loves it, he's already safer in/around water, and it's worth every penny over the city lessons. We absolutely recommend!

The teachers and the facilities are great, but I felt they were severely overbooked. There were so many people in the locker area! Their website they advertise there are changing rooms to fit a full family, but during more than half an hour we couldn't find one available. We barely had room to change our 8 month old and ended up getting him dressed on the hair dryer counter. I honestly feel like 6 babies/instructor is way too much.

When I first visited this place seems very organized and well managed facility but unfortunately my five year old son didn’t learn almost nothing after 12 months taking private and group classes.My kid started from the beginning again in another swimming Academy.From my observation I believe the problem was one class in a week and changing instructor constantly.
