Very professional company and quick to reply to my emails!

I submitted my case to them and had to call in to find out whether they have received it. They will not communicate with you or take any actions at all. No updates, no nothing. I think it is not a serious company. We wasted our time with them.

We used ICON to collect on an account that had been outstanding for over a year. The customer was not communicating with us and not answering emails, phonecalls etc. We hired ICON to help us collect the amounts owing. Although at the beginning of the process, I was unsure as to whether they would be able to help (i had not much communication from anyone as to what was happening with collections), turns out behind the scenes, they were working hard DAILY at contacting the customer. Within A MONTH, we received partial payment from the customer and in less than 2 months after contacting ICON, we received FULL PAYMENT on the amounts owing. I would definitely recommend ICON for any collection issues you are having.

As such with the way things are it is difficult to do business and on top of it when clients do not pay, it makes it even more difficult. Gladly I knew of ICON's decades of experience, easy no collection - no fee promise and time sensitive understanding - I and my business partners always now rely on their expertise for any collection issues. My first experience sending someone to collections.When I called to enquire I was sold the service by a friendly Irish lady who was awesome.Called back a week later to go forward and unfortunately she was no longer there.. hmmI went ahead and contracted them for a debt anyway.All seemed ok. I enquired about 1 month later for an update. This is where it started to go South... I was told we don't give updates".I thought this was unusual but ok..However many weeks later I get a call that client was ready to settle. Great !We agreed on settlement and customer paid the next day...Hooray ! I was so happy..That was in the first week of that current month.A short while later I enquired when I would be paid. They said after the 25th I think.I then get a followup message saying it wouldn't be till after the 25th of the NEXT month due to accounting reasons... So that's 7 weeks later.. OK..My next communication was around the middle of the next month just to clarify the finalization of the service and payment.This was where they lost me as a customer.They said " we have already explained everything to you and will no longer respond to your inquiries"I was dumbstruck to be honest.I then regretted allowing them to make money off me.The most bizarre customer service I have ever experienced.The only good thing was I got paid..25% less after the commission but at least I got some money out of the already unpleasant experience of dealing with a delusional scammer customer.Unfortunately this company only added to the already bad situation.Then they held my money 7 weeks and never actually paid when they said they would so 8 weeks..All in all I'd never use them again and I'll roll the dice with another company need be..Buyer beware..In response to there response:I wasn't complaining about the fee. I knew that going in. I complained about your ignorant responses and the outrageous time you take to pay.And you didn't have any kind of portal at that time.Honest reviews reflect honest business interactions. I have all the emails. You want me to post them here and show everybody the level of ignorance I received. No problem

They put a creditor at my account before they do have any proof. This is ridiculous should not be legal to play with some one’s credit score. I will do what ever it is necessary and next time they have to ask more proof to do this
