You can feel the good vibes when you walk into this place! I’ve been using their soaps for 5+ years now and highly recommend them. Also a great place for advice on crystals, essential oils and general wellness.

I have been coming here almost every week and always blown away by the wonderful selection of products and services they offer. The shop itself has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, which immediately put me at ease. The staff and the owner were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and were able to guide me through the different options available from Crystals, Reiki, Card Readings, gifts of enlightenments & so much more!I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for high-quality and affordable products and a peaceful shopping experience. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection of products is second to none.And I don’t want to forget Lucy! This dog always greats you first. ☺️ I will definitely be returning for more purchases in the future!

first crystal shop i ever visited when i moved to hamilton. employees are always friendly and helpful. they also keep their prices good so that it’s affordable for people who are less wealthy. very ethical business practices, and generally a great vibe in the store. i know i can come here when i have a bad day and walk out feeling better.

Not an expert on crystals or stones, but my partner is a fanatic. According to them, the products were of great quality and superb prices compared to its competitors. For any boyfriends who’s partners are into crystals, this is the perfect store for you, the staff are very knowledgeable and are always able to help you out. My one and ONLY criticism is the size of the store, I’m hoping that with its popularity, it’ll be able to expand. Very excited to see what comes next!

The crystals are well priced and beautiful and the dog is adorable but this shop sells products that are cultural appropriation. They sell white sage, palo santo, etc, without even acknowledging that these are used for closed practices deriving from Indigenous folk who have been outspoken about smudging etc being a closed practice and how harmful it is that it’s being monetized off of and white washed.

Super sweet staff! Down to earth people that truly care about you! They also give great advice and tips for beginners so don’t be hesitant to go in!!

The store scent was great. The owners are very lovely and accommodating when you have any questions. You would know that they are knowledgeable with their products. I was chatting with them, and the last thing I know, I've been in the store for almost 2 hrs. Def recommended shop!

Just the essentials is a great store with friendly staff and beautiful products. Janice makes beautiful crystal jewellery and is filled with knowledge about any crystal. She is so genuine and you can tell she really cares about her customers. Their prices are extremely fair. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Heather was quick to help me out with any questions I had and had such a calm energy around her. I also got some puppy love from her German shepherd pup Nova! I will definitely be going back there for the crystals, knowledge and of course Nova.
