Excellent treatment in the Emergency Department. Efficient and very knowledgeable Doctor and Resident! Kind treatment for my husband and positive attitude from nurses and associates! Open to my questions and approachable. Well run in these difficult times. Above my expectations!

Outstanding hospitality and service. Everything of the system is as best as can be. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They have many resources and departments for all sorts of medical needs and research.Dr Bercovici is the absolute best doctor I have ever met as a specialist. He motivates me every time I visit.I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just experience for yourself.

My husband was having chronic debilitating leg pains and decided to go to emerg here at Toronto Western. What type of hospital has no wheelchair in emerg?! The nurse told me to “find a wheelchair together” and “look for security, they might have wheelchair” and left me without a trace! A “world-renowned” hospital that can’t even provide a basic device for transporting a patient? How embarrassing! We ended up going to Sinai that had actual wheelchairs!!!

If I could give less than one I would. I have never experienced such awful care. The nurses and doctors are egotistical and do not listen to their patients. They don't explain what they are doing or injecting you with and there is very little kindness. If the care was at least good I could over look that, but the nurses struggle to put in IV needles (I have bruises up and down my arms from the attempts), they openly infront of the patient get confused about tools and they don't communicate what's going on with your care which makes everything much more stressful. Find literally any other hospital if you actually want help.

It was discovered that my father had a giant brain aneurysm that miraculously did not rupture but was causing excruciating pain without any relief. We were made aware that it was a very challenging operation with many possible complications. While we had a hard waiting period of several weeks for surgery, it was 100% worth it. The surgeons were ultimately able to save my fathers life and the MRI post surgery showed no strokes. He is still recovering but making big strides with each day.I thought it was important to write this review and experience because there are so many negative reviews about emergency and for anyone going through such a stressful time with a sick loved one, it's reassuring to hear that you can trust the amazing neurosurgical team are the best of the best! Wishing you the same experience.Edit: my father has continued to improve without any complications and we are incredibly thankful to everyone that treated him with care and consideration. Words cannot express - thank you

Amazing. That's what I think about every staff member that I dealt with when I had my surgery earlier this week. Thank you. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. Thank you for the work you do each day. For the people you take care of, running from one person to the next, putting others in front of yourselves and not always being appreciated for it. I'd buy you all a coffee (or beer) if I could. To the doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, CT staff, administrative staff, security guards, porters and everyone in-between. I appreciate you all. Thank you.

Came here with a broken finger (pinky). I was looked at right away. But I did wait a few hours for my X-Ray.Doctor was absolutely amazing.Surgeon Doctor was very friendly helpful and made me feel comfortable.Emergency department was not busy at all.A lot of homeless individuals came to get warm and got some food.
