Theatre Under The Stars

Great way to spend a summer evening and watch some live theater. Something Rotten was thoroughly entertaining. Pack a picnic basket with your favourite snacks and enjoy a fun evening. Don't forget to pack your blanket and bug spray.

Went there to watch we will rock you. It was an amazing show. Beautiful story portrayed even more beautifully. Indeed a treat for Queen fans. Loved the show and loved the artists. The killer queen is a badass actor and character. The garden outside is too beautiful and well maintained. Washrooms are nice and clean. Food and beverages are nice and at reasonable price. Seating could be a lil better tho. Would advise to carry a mosquito repellent.

I am NOT normally a lover of musicals but this one has me entertained from the beginning to end. The whole cast was amazing, having fun, staying engaged helming the audience through the story.There was a threat of rain and we were handed ponchos, just in case. The weather held, the songs were great, what a terrific evening. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful show and performance. It gets a little cold at night, so bring a blanket or cover for when the show continues into the night.The cast was amazing and had me laughing the entire time. Extra special props to the bard and Nick.Had a great night out with friends.

It is so great to have TUTS back this summer, and with two fantastic shows. This is a fantastic venue to enjoy musicals during the summer. You can bring your own picnic, or grab food there. The seats are quite comfortable for outdoor chairs (and if you don't find them comfortable, there are seats cushions available for rent). The outhouses are always really clean. All in all, a great evening out with fantastic shows and great actors.

We attended the dress call for Matilda and I have to say all the performers were just splendid. I hope everyone gets an opportunity to catch the Theatre Under The Stars.I would say for those attending, here are a few tips:- For parking, I made the mistaken of listening to google maps so I took the scenic drive into Stanley Park. Go straight through the roundabout at the entrance of Stanley Park onto Pipeline Road to get to the parking lot (yes, I really needed to LOOK at the map =D )- There are 2 acts with an short 15min intermission (they didn't actually announce their return to the 2nd act, so be mindful of your time if you're wandering during intermission.- Be prepared to be there until at least 10:45ish, this will factor into how much you pay for parking- Most importantly, bring mosquito repellent and cover up! It was such a lovely night but as soon as the sun goes down, the mosquitoes are way more prominent. You will start to notice how uncomfortable it is to sit through the remaining show as you are being eaten alive. I'm still swollen from all the bites this morning.

Best Musical experience you can get. Something Rottenand We Will Rock You were best shows I ever seen.

So excited to finally be back at TUTS. As usual, they put on a great show with We Will Rock You. I recommend going to TUTS for any show, they do it right.

Went to preview for Something Rotten!. What a great venue and an amazing show. The chairs are well laid out and it's very easy to see no matter where you are. We rented the chair pads before going into the theatre area and I'm very glad we did. Rental is by donation so pay what you can. Highly recommend pre ordering your intermission beverages as lines can be quite long especially if paying by card.

Something Rotten was the best ever production at TUTS. I went multiple times this season, it was phenomenal. Although, there were some sound issues. The cast was top rate. Congrats TUTS on a successful summer.
