Terrible clinic, horrible adm staff!When my previous doctor quit, they said that my kids and I would be automatically transferred to another doctor but that never happened and they never contacted me about it. Totally disorganized. Because of this I had no doctor for over 6 months and I had recently gone through a major surgery that had complications.Once I finally got a doctor, I realized that it actually makes no difference, because he is never available. I had to wait a whole month to get an appointment with him, waited one hour at the reception and now that I desperate need a follow up, surprise, surprise! He's not available until April! And the year has just started.To make things worse, the receptionists are ALWAYS very rude, NEVER friendly and are very unprofessional. They have no sympathy, they are not nice people, and the only solution they always offer (bluntly) is: go to the ER. Period. However, the kind of follow up I need (for several issues), it's not something that I'd go to the ER and wait a whole day for. And I cannot wait until April either. It's SO FRUSTRATING!!!!Also, the doctor never responds to the online request form!!! Errgh. Hate this clinic! Need to find another one asap.PS: To be fair, on the rare occasion I got to see Dr Sukerman he was nice and attentive. But since he's the only one at the clinic I don't feel supported as a patient

Receptionists never returns calls and always dismissive. They will tell you they will call back and never do. Once you call them back and finally get a hold of them while they are not on their lunch break for once, they are incapable of talking without being aggressive and extremely rude. This is such a shame how Ontarios health system is in hands of these clowns

Unfortunately, all bad reviews regarding this clinic are real. I was transferred under the doctor D.Sukerman care by my former doctor A. Bennett who was an excellent doctor and unfortunately,he decided to close his practice. I work in the health care and had some issues with my Achilles tendon. I called the clinic few times- no answer, I sent them email -no response. I couldn't work anymore and needed treatment and the doctor' s note imediately but I couldn't reach them.I went to the Sports Rehabilitation clinic which has an excellent doctor and they took me literally from the street, they prescribed treatment and helped me.Month later Dr. Sukerman , called me and and we had a nice chat via cell phone and he asked me to do blood work because I haven't done it for years. He seemed to be very nice and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my blood test results came not so good and no one from the doctor Sukerman office has contacted me to talk about them. When I sent them an email and asked about my results and the consultation they told me that Iam not longer their patient and I can go to emergency or walk in clinic with my blood test results. They have never informed me or send any official information that I am not their patient anymore. They literally kick their patients off without even telling them.Iam extremely disappointed. I went to another doctor because they ignored my calls and email where I asked about left foot ultrasound and the doctor's appointment.I keep that email as a proof because Iam going to make am official complain to CPSO. They neglected my health from the very first day.Although,they don't answer phone calls they still expect their patients do not to go to any walk in clinic or see any other doctors.And the funniest part is the fact, that I have to pay around 100$ to have all medical files send to me. This clinic is a big scam. If you got kicked from the D.Sukerman practice ,there are still doctors on the Roncessvalles who accept new patients. I transferred myself immediately to another doctor within 4 hours after I found out I am not Dr. D. Sukernam patient anymore.All negative comments regarding Doc on the Block poor practices speak for themselves.

I was moved to this clinic after my amazing doctor of many years closed his practice. It was a nightmare dealing with this clinic. The staff were extremely rude and their lack of professionalism and condescending attitude ended up impacting my overall health. I am glad to have transferred my care to another clinic who is patient centric and do not scold their patients for asking basic questions about their health.

Horrible clinic!Administration stuff will not remind you about the appointment, but will charge cancellation fee the same day.I had a terrible experience with Doc On The Block multiple times, but once I was charged for not showing up, I decided to leave the clinic.All good doctors leave the place, they can’t work with Dr Sukerman.Once my previous doctor quit, I was never contacted and never transferred to another HCP. At that time I was pregnant and was seeing my midwife, so I didn’t really needed a family doctor. But when I did (at 34weeks of pregnancy) in order to get a TDAP vaccine-they made me wait for 3 weeks for an appointment, I waited for an hour to get my vaccine, which took 2 minutes to administer, and Dr Sukerman commented at the end “This vacation is not needed, most people do fine without it” - EXTREMELY unprofessional!My husband is without a doctor for over 8 months now, because they don’t accept new patients (even though we both were their patients before our previous doctor quit).And today, when I was supposed to have my appointment for my son’s vaccination, I didn’t get any reminders and it totally slipped my mind that we are supposed to be at the clinic, they called me and charged for 35$+tax.I get it, cancelation fee etc, but not when there’s no reminder!!!I have a 2 month old, I don’t remember if I brushed my teeth this morning, how am I supposed to remember appointments?!Anyway, to sum it up- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Keep looking for your HCP somewhere else.

I am a very anxious individual, and a new mom. I've been seeing Dr Sukerman for almost a decade, and he has been incredible to myself, and now my little boy. He's incredibly thorough and doesn't brush off your concerns. All the staff are friendly and get back to me quickly over email.

So frustrated!!!! What's the point of having an online request system if you're not going to look at it. Requested a refill on my meds a couple days before Christmas eve. No response. Sent another request, still nothing. Now I find out they're closed for the holidays, which I had received no notice of their holiday hours. I'm now out of my prescription, and even better, is that my pharmacist has to now restock as they don't have it, and I'm now another day without them. This would not have been an issue had they responded before the holidays and given my phamacist time to restock.Honestly, the doctors themselves are great, but both me and my roommate (also a patient) have both had attrocious issues in the past just trying to communicate with them.

The doctor removed my wife from his clinic because she went to another doctor few times . She was trying to make an appointment with Dr.Sukerman first, but no one picks up the phone at this clinic and appointments are impossible to arrange.My wife's requested her medical records to be send to her two months ago. They said they will print it out, call for the payment and it will be send to her. They have never contacted her, just completely ignored her request for her medical records.We contacted CPSO and were told that the doctor has maximum 30 days to transfer medical records and we got instructions what to do next.My wife lost one semester at the college and money because she couldn't prove her immunization records taken in 2017.Of course we are going to fight till the end because those situations shouldn't take place. Can you believe? The doctor remove you from your patient list without telling you and he is blocking access to your all medical records.

Unbelievably horrible place. Should be shut down immediately. THIS is a representation of healthcare in Canada? WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING A FAMILY DOCTOR WHEN IT TAKES MULTIPLE MONTHS TO EVEN GET AN APPOINTMENT?! i understand if you're too busy you usually DOWNSIZE YOUR PRACTICE. All of the bad reviews are 100% true. Dr Sukerman is OK, nothing special... Reception is > deadpan/emotionless/useless/unorganized for the most part < & don't care about patients. I'm sure that's because they deal with people complaining all the time. Still not an excuse. The fact that practices like these can still operate & make money is PATHETIC.
