Amazing shop the guys in the shop are very well spoken. They were able to diagnose what went wrong with my 04 yz250f head. Loved James & the team at Cycle Improvements! They were able to fit us into a very busy spring schedule and get our bike tuned up and ready for sale. They fixed the annoying little oil drip that our previous mechanic was unable to resolve and did it in record time. We will be using Cycle Improvements for all our motorcycle needs going forward. Service for a 2013 BMW C650GT.Normally I would need to drive to either London or near Toronto to get to a BMW Motorcycle dealership. Living in Elmira, ON this was getting to be an inconvenient and time-consuming situation. I wanted to find a more local motorcycle repair shop that would service BMW motorcycles for repairs other than normal tire/oil change/brake works.I received a referral to Cycle Improvements on Colby Dr in Waterloo owned by James Hunt. After speaking with James, he confirmed that he would be able to look after my specific needs - rebuild of the Damper Rod Fork.While the repair took somewhat longer than expected, the cost of the repair was reasonable and communication with James regarding the timing of the repair was on-going.Two weeks after the repair work, I received a follow-up message from James checking to see if the bike was working well.In summary, I very much appreciated the follow-up message from James. This is not a common customer service practice for motorcycle or even car repair shops.I will be bringing my bike to James for all my future service needs. James' skill and motorcycle knowledge including excellent customer service is very obvious and much needed in our community.Hans GrossElmira, ON

Totally destroyed the $800 paint on my 2 fenders, then refused to make it right. I can’t show pics here, but sent Jim pics of both fenders. Front fender was bent or twisted so bad, of course the paint will peel off. Any paint would peel off and back fender is a result of the two seat brackets scratching the paint.Scratches aren’t an adhesion problem it’s lack of respect and professionalism to make sure rough metal parts don’t come into contact with the paint job.

Every time i’ve gone they have met and exceeded expectations. Just today i went in to fix a stuck seat. As well as fixing the seat they also fixed my license plate that has been originally mounted crooked without charging extra (which i am extremely grateful for).

Jim and his guys did a great job on my KZ900.They did a top end rebuild over the winter months and it turn out greatVery knowledgeable, and makes honest recommendation on stuff that he finds wrong.Overall have to give then 5 stars

James is knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me options and suggested cheaper alternatives when fixing my bike. He also delivered the bike to me (for a fee) since it was winter.

Took my Honda Hawk gt to Jim for a starting issue. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed the next day. One week later I decided to start the bike, cold started instantly. Ran smooth no sputtering or stalling. Well done!
