LIFELAB PAID GOOGLE TO HIDE MY REVIEWIn April Short stocky, short hair bolding FILIPINO woman is rudest ever to customers and to an elderly lady - she screamed at her abruptly, true she didn’t have an appointment but she would not help her. And we had appointments and we still had to do the LINE-UP REGARDLESS. Soooo why not help the 80 yr old sick lady. She yelled and told her IN LOUD RUDE TONE if YOU DECIDE TO WAIT I DONT KNOW HOW LONG MAYBE 3, 4 hours wait.We all had to wait regardless, my appointment was an hour past. This woman was so rude checking me in. She talks like a horrible guard dog. Also how do you always fall behind 3 hours? And what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you treat us first come, first checked in?? Disgusted by woman’s service to customers, never seen this before to an elderly.Today I delt with an another Filipino woman, friend of the rude bold Filipino woman and was also very rude. Is Lifelab upper management filipino???, yikes worst service ever seen in Canada.

I've used the 10th Avenue East location several times (5, maybe) since the winter of 2021. I've always made an appointment and had no problems. The staff were always professional during all of my appointments (even to people who demanded to be seen without appointments). I had minimal delays/technicians were as prompt as possible.

I've only had good experiences here. Quick and kind service. I was hesitant to go the first time due to reviews, but I'm not sure why they're so low. I go out of my way to go here as the workers are always great.

Don’t walk in, many people try to and it’s not going to work. Only had to wait 20 min to draw blood with my scheduled apt. The nurse was very nice and helpful but I will say it’s super dirty, all items that should be stored in a closed uncontaminated spot are left open I.e cotton balls that they use after blood draw and sanitizing solution for pre draw - all open and on dirty surfaces. Next time I will likely travel further to find a cleaner option.

If only I had a second chance, never gonna go back to this lifelabs again.Front desk can’t be more rude and impatient. And the person who took my blood said it’s my fault to not sit properly without my backpack on the chair. Yeah that’s cuz it had never been an issue for my past 30 years.Also you should be aware of your training student not being able to find the right spot first.

I have hard to tap veins and often have horrible experience getting blood taken once they stabbed me 7x, at a different lab and still couldn't get it done. We are talking vomiting and passing out ensues anytime I go for blood work. I explained this to the young tech, who was very kind, she took a moment to try to find a vein, she struggled so she asked one of the senior techs to help her. That tech was in and out in 2 mins got it done in one go. Sure not all the staff there is friendly but I assume it's because they deal with a lot of stupid rude people daily.

They should be fined by the health authorities or the government. They are making people life more difficult than it is. I’m really shocked how they still in business after all these low reviews. The appointment requirement should stop immediately it just delays more then it helps. I wish if I can complain to the government about them

PRO: Still took me as a walk-in when I was 30 minutes late for my appointment on a Friday afternoon.CON: No way to get a hold of the clinic when I was running late 20 minutes prior (phone goes straight to voicemail), rude and unhelpful receptionist(s), dirty waiting area. The screen displaying the estimated wait time is covered with receipts and tape (see photo attached) and there weren’t nearly enough seats for the number of people in the waiting area. At the time of the review I’ve been waiting an hour.I’d highly recommend other LifeLabs location before this one — there’s a lot of room for improvement. More staff on site might be a good start.

Extremely disrespectful staff. I don’t know her name, but she has a tattoo on the inside of her left arm. She didn’t seem to know about the kind of test that I needed, and refused to help in a respectful manner, to the point of yelling out “Next!” while I was still talking to her. I witnessed her being very disrespectful and condescending to other patients too. I would urge Life Labs to offer her some training in customer service so as to not word the Life Labs brand further.

I come here often and I only have problems with the Filipino woman at the front, multiple times she just makes unprofessional comments. Todays interaction with her was super upsetting and unprofessional. She was talking loudly about something I came in to drop off and opened everything in front of everybody. I told her I wrote the correct dates and still continued to act like I didn’t to embarrass me. Seen her pick and choose who she can be mean to and nice to.
