My son came to Dave with very little experience. In 8 short weeks my son has learnt so much and he really enjoys his lessons. Dave caters his lessons to my sons likes and interest in music which I think really helps make it fun. I really like how Dave emails me a summary of the lesson they did for the week with attachments that my son can use to help him practice. It has been a very pleasant experience and we will be back for more lessons in the future.

Dave took me on as a senior student 2 years ago.In addition to being a great musician, he was very patient and took the time to bring me along, improving my guitar skills.He taught me guitar theory and a few trick that were helpful.He worked with me on the kind of music I like, as well as challenging me each week to improve which I believed I did. He would answer question between sessions and sent me tracks and sheet music to assist in my progress.A good studio setting and a age and skill level method of teaching commensurate with my skills and abilities.In addition to this he is a really good guy who loves music and it shows in his teaching.Highly recommended and I look forward to being his student again later this fallBill SquiresParksville Bc

Great knowledge of the guitar. Working on theory can be pretty dull but has been a blast working with Dave. His studio is a good size and the amps are cranked. He's always helping get good tone out of any guitar I show up with. Sends a follow up emails after each lesson for practice items for the week. Highly recommend.
