Touch Of India Restaurant
I love authentic Indian food. And as me and my fiancee was walking down the street looking for a place to eat. We had a whiff of tandoori chicken. We couldn't find a place that could be selling it. So off we went to our original spot..on our way back we saw touch of India. The next day we went to it. Oh man was I disappointed. On the table I saw salt and pepper. I'm like what is this? Because Indian food you don't need salt or pepper to season your dishes. We ordered chicken tikka and butter chicken. The chicken was ok and my fiancee she found a bone in the boneless butter chicken. *Thumbs down* and the chicken Tikka was dry and looked like it has been sitting there and served warm to us. I would never go back and anyone who says this is authentic has not had REAL Indian food. It was unfortunate that we did not see the other restaurant further down the street that was the cause of that delicious aroma. I'd only recommend this for people who enjoy the Canadian version of Indian food that you usually get from Costco jars.

After walking by the restaurant on the way to ice dogs games many times we were Intrigued by the smell of curry. We finally decided to stop in. The owners were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We ordered a combo as well as a couple of other dishes. Food was very tasty, and the portions were also a good size. Prices were reasonable also.As mentioned by others, it does take some time for them to prepare your food, so it is not a good place for a quick bite. Leave yourself some time and enjoy the tasty experience. We will definately be back.

We just moved to St Catharines and we’re looking for an authentic Indian restaurant…not only did we find great food and great service but also wonderful owners who appreciate their customers. This will be our go to Indian restaurant every time. Can’t wait to try more dishes!

I wish I could give a 5 star. The restaurant atmosphere is fantastic, lively gives an authentic Indian feel. Loved the painting around and chairs are comfortable. Well that's a restaurant so need to pay attention with food as well. Had ordered paneer kadhai, Naan and mango Lassi. Quantity of main course was small not that sufficient for people of 2. Whereas Paneer size was pretty big not basically an Indian style. Nan was a bit burnt but it was still ok and mango Lassi was fine could have been more better. This is the only good rated indian resturant in the town i hope to visit again and check out other dishses.It seems the price in this resurant is bit high. Check out the pics

My family and I have been going to Touch of India for many years. The customer service is impeccable and the food is consistently delicious. I recommend the butter chicken, chicken tandoori, onion bhaji and naan. Everything is made in house and it is fresh. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, it is very reasonably priced and I always leave satisfied. If you want delicious authentic India cuisine, dine at Touch of India.

True authentic Indian food. Very friendly owner who will make you feel very welcomed. I have been going here for many years and the quality and taste has always been great. Try the Chicken Dopiaza and the Dhansak.Only two drawbacks - I never seem to get a place to park around here and on weekends the place gets crowded and the food gets delayed.

All I can say is, wow. People need to go out again for dinner. The restaurant has been there for over 30 years. Talk about delicious food. Many great choices were available. Traditional fare was very much enjoyed. Highly recommend, and I will go again.The service was very friendly, and the owner came to the table to see how we enjoyed the meal. That is excellent service.

I hate leaving bad reviews. But I'm sorry this was just not good. Decided to try this as I saw it pop up on uber eats. The food is ***very*** bland. We eat indian food a lot & my husband comes from an indian family so i know good indian food . We had to add salt and our own curry spices. The portions were small. I'll stick to the places I always order from . It's too bad..the menu sounded good ..but every single dish we ordered was a waste .

I do not understood these reviews. This is simply not Indian cuisine. Meat is either undercooked or overcooked. The flavor does not exist..at all!. Even the bread was bland. Either I have covid...or someone in the kitchen is allergic to curry spice and salt. Very disappointing guys. Let me know when you want to enjoy real Indian dining...I'll show you a spot.
