Want to sit and relax? Take a stroll? Get married? Take photos of a bridal party or a family then there are a lot of locations here to use. Unfortunatly there are many vagrants occupying ladk benches and hiding under bridges etc. Just be careful who is around you, otherwise its a great place to sit and have a licnic, contemplate life or make difficult decisions without distractions.

I love this little downtown park. A quint stream runs through the park, there are plenty of benches and places to relax with a book. During spring and summer the flowers and the shrubs are in bloom make it just beautiful. There are also a lot of places for kids to run if that is more your style. A hidden almost unused gem in the heart of Red Deer.

The trails are lovely for walking, and longboarding on good days. Very good for wild life. And the walking bridges are lovely to take instagram worthy pictures. I love to read the plaques that give little facts and stories about certain things or places of significance in every and all cities. And this was definitely a return worthy experience for sure. But honestly. I wish people would care for the area a little better. It's evident it's from careless visitors and the people paid to maintain the park quite obviously do their job as it seems the garbage of every day is a completely new batch from the stuff left behind the prior day. It's just a bit of a downer to see how people have no regard for the little nature true areas that are still in good condition. Such as this one.

Really nice scenery when it's not plagued with addicts. Usually have homeless camps throughout the trees, or along the streams. Walking the paths you can birdwatch, or have a nice relaxing walk with your dog(s), and enjoy nature. The white bridge is also a good location for wedding pictures, and the rows of trees along the path also makes for great pictures.

Very beautiful place, very quiet, clean and good taken care of. Lots of beautiful and old trees, spacious. Great place to spend time with family, kids, you can bring your blanket to sit underneath big trees, and the place is so quiet that you can even bring your favorite book and have some time on your own.
