This location is amazing! The staff are very friendly and helpful. They truly care about customer service, and it shows! The store was very clean, organized, and well stocked. The system said there was one item left in stock, and they found it for us! The store’s General Manager, Adam, was VERY friendly and helpful and knew exactly what the item was, and where it was located in the store. We will continue supporting and shopping at this location in the future! Thank you for your help Adam!!

The best sports check I have been to in Durham for bicycles. The store manager Adam went above and beyond in helping us purchase the bike and offered excellent customer service. This led me to choose this location to make the purchase.

This goes for all stores not just this one.I went to buy a hockey stick today, I was blown away by the prices, pretty much $80 and up some were $400, even the employees say it's absolutely ridiculous, no wonder parents can't afford to put their kids in hockey.. horrible..

Went to visit this location was looking for some elastic bands for rehabilitation on my shoulder. Luckily I met Shane he's one of the best staff I have ever met with really knowledgeable explaining on how to use them. And I brought some yesterday and today I was trying to put them in use. This one just SHATTERED. They are not a band and rather its more rubber pieces to me. And really unfortunately yesterday when I checked out I didn't give them my email due to privacy reason and they didn't even print me any paper receipt. I am really disappointed on this purchase.

I was in today and waited over 30 minutes at‘ bike service shop ‘ as the girl talking about her personal life to the other customer. Finally when I got my number, I said to the 2 cashiers AND 2 floor mangers that my son bike is all good no issues just quickly need tune up which will take them less then 1/2 hour and cost me either $10 , $15, or $20 dollars . I paid those smaller amounts before last times at the same store. But they said big NO , cost you $30 dollars . I wasted my time , got frustrated and left . I noticed they all get back to whatever they were doing as if they don’t care . BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Hubby needed new runners, hikers and a nice walking shoe. He pointed to four pairs of shoes on the display wall and this lovely young man, Leam, in footwear, fitted him and went into the back and retrieved them. He didn't ask again which ones". He didn't write them down. He promptly ran into the back and returned with everything! Easiest shop ever. Everything he wanted was in stock too!I checked out clearance. $19.97 for a long sleeve athletic shirt with zippered pockets - got it home and noticed the price was reduced even further - $14.88 - NICE!The cashier

I am just writing to say that a young salesperson named Kaidan helped me today to purchase two pairs of men's shoes. Kaidan helped me find the two sizes I needed and he was very attentive to the fact that I had limited resources and that the shoes were going to First Light Foundation of Hope. He went above and beyond. I think this young man should be rewarded for his diligence and compassion. Thank you Kaidan. A very grateful customer. Don't waste your time or money. Six employees passed me and made eye contact but said nothing, few other customers, zero assistance from anyone other than two other employees saying someone will be with me in a minute which didn't happen. I needed two pairs of high-end running shoes and other running clothing but went across the street to the Running Room instead. My wife called to speak to the manager and his response could not have been more despondent which explains the staff I suppose. The ONLY reason I go brick-and-mortor is for the customer service. If you don't have any, you don't get my money.

I'm sorry to say that my recent visit to Sports Check to buy shoes for my son was a terrible experience, due to a salesgirl. As my son tried on a pair of shoes, she made rude remarks and mocked us, apparently believing we couldn't afford a pair of shoes. I was appalled and offended by her behavior, which seemed to have a racial component as she called over a colleague to join in the ridicule. This was by far the worst treatment I've ever received at any Sports Check store. I cannot recommend this location and strongly advise others to avoid it if they want to be treated with basic respect and dignity.
