Such a great selection of tarts, hard to choose which ones to try! Delicious and delicate crust with smooth creamy fillings.

I was on Whyte Ave and was thinking of going to the Japanese street food place Dorinku Tokyo. While trying to find somewhere to park I came across Pablo Cheese tart and decided to skip lunch and just grab something from here.Pablo Cheese Tart is a chain I believe as when I typed its name into Google I could see several locations across Canada.I went in and decided to go with the original cheese tart and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate cost $3 something and was a smaller cup, however it tasted good and the temperature was warm but not scalding hot. I was able to enjoy it right away.I really liked that it was served at a near drinkable temperature, I honestly avoid hot drinks as I hate burning my mouth and I often do.The cheese tart was tasty, the crust was not buttery just more of a dryish crust, I found it went well with the filling, though it is a small tart, $2.99 would be a more fair price.Overall, it tasted good and if the price was different, I could see myself buying this to serve at a party or taking a dozen to a friends house. However, given that a dozen of them cost $59 and a single tart costs 4.99, buying a dozen saves you only 0.88.Eighty-Eight cents saved when you buy a dozen of them? Not going to happen. That is a rip off.If you want to go enjoy a single tart and a hot drink and you’re walking around Whyte Ave with friends, then go to Pablo and do that. However, if you want to buy a dozen for when you entertain or when going to a friend’s house? Avoid Pablos.Seriously who can afford this? Like only 11% of Canadians make more than I do and I have no wife or kids, I can not afford this place.

Visit: July 2023They had a 50% off sale and I got a pretty large variety of mini tarts (strawberry daifuku, apple pie, tiramisu, mango, and peach) as well as a larger oreo basque cheesecake. I shared with family and their favorites were the oreo basque cheesecake and tiramisu (which had a really strong coffee flavor)! Great cheesecakes and they were always baking new tarts. Also got 2 drinks, the cheese tart and chocolate shakes. Really enjoyed the cheese Tart one as it was a unique taste. The chocolate was good and had deep chocolate flavor, but a bit too sweet for my liking

I enjoyed it very much. The ginger matcha latte has very strong ginger flavour. The matcha cheese cake, however, has a hint of sour I’m guessing it’s lemon flavour? Not the best matcha cheese cake I’ve had. The mochi was huge and chewy even though not shown in the picture.

If you're craving for something cheesy this place is right for you. The cheese tarts are good but it is quite expensive for its serving. The milkshakes aren't bad, just a little small. So you're better off to buy it at either McDonald's or for that price, there's lots of Bubble Tea places around the area.Parking is always full and difficult to find unless you happen to luck out, as this is my 4th time visiting this place and it has always resulted the same.. unfortunately.I put up a menu, along with my photos. If you're going to spend a good $20+, a good option would be to really check other places out that are equally as good unless you're really craving for a Cheese tart.

This place is a wonderful mid-shop stop (or mid-bike stop, as it was for me) during your time on Whyte. The tarts are so decadent, yet not overly sweet. They crust is flaky and soft, but with enough texture to nicely complement the creamy smoothness of the filling. We had the original, the peach, and the white chocolate raspberry. The original was so delightfully cheesy, while the other two had crisp bright cuts of fruit to mingle with the velvety centre. The fruit ones had a but less of a cheesy and more creamy filling.Several tables are available in the store as well as a gender neutral washroom. There is a drink and tart combo for a nice snack, as well as multiple tart deals if you want to take them away for an event or party (which I 100% recommend).

Edmonton coffee pass stop number… I’ve lost count. Great cheese tarts! We tried mango, almond chocolate marshmallow, and cinnamon apple - all were fantastic. And instead of coffee, we had to try the house Special cheese tart smoothie. The kids were a huge fan. Coming back to try the crème brûlée tart!
