Good day everyone living in Laval ChomedeyI came to this place today around 12:30 PM for my son passportbefore I come here, I heard we had to wait by hour , long line waiting and I lost the people in the waiting roomAfter two hour 2:30 PM they call my number and I can't believe it How fast is itBut this is the point, the officer who check my document she really amazing amazing amazing officer I have ever seen ( her name is Karen - sorry if I heard it wrong) She really help me to fix the form , to correct the form . Very patient for my document.I really don't think people will help me like that. Usually you have to go back to fix the form by yourself.Took me 15 minutes to finished my formPay and goOfficer. Amazing service , if you arrive at 8:30am sharp you will be ouy by 9:00 am sharp.

Walked in without an appointment at 2:00pm on a Monday. Processed and out in under 30 minutes. If you can get there this is an excellent alternative to downtown or the Pointe Claire office.Update: They processed my application on Monday at 3pm and my new passport was delivered to my mailbox on Friday of the same week.. The problems and delays they had last year have apparently been resolved.

The people working there are all amazing, they try to work with what they were given, my daughter had a flight in 48 hours, she was told to wait in line, and about 6 hrs later she was called in, showed her proof of travel, she was told to come back the next day at 1:00 and there it was her passport was done. All employees there were amazing, they had to deal with people screaming at them, complaining about the situation, the waiting, they were dealing with all kinds of situations, but bottom line is, they are there to do their job, it is not them who didn’t plan properly for the overwhelming demand for passports after a pandemic. To all of you working at this passport office, keep up the great work, and a very big thank you for your amazing patience and great work.

The line ups can be long, processes can be complicated, but that’s nothing new in Québec. I am just glad that there is a Service Canada next to my place. It’s located in the Ste-Dorothée mega centre.

Excellent service was provided for my family at this office for passport applications. Customer service was knowledgeable, professional, and very courteous. Furthermore, this location has convenient parking available!

The experience there is really hard to say. We booked two appointments in different days of March 2023 for two kids’ passport renewal. It’s all same documents and procedures. The first appointment was so efficient and satisfying. The agent was very professional, helpful and nice. She knew clearly what documents were required for our application. What type of documents should be qualified. How long the delivery would take. Every step was clear. It only took us less than 5 mins to have the application and payment done. She even helped us to book the 2nd appointment for the 2nd kid, which is today. All over all, for the 1st appointment, 5 stars, I would say.But unfortunately, today, when we visited again with appointment, the experience was completely at opposite poles.The triage at the reception was always helpful and professional. The only problem comes when we sat down in front of the agent.First the agent who took our file lacks the basic knowledge or training as a passport officer. She doesn’t even know there is a type of documents called as notarized birth certificate which is officially accepted by Canada immigration office and most of the educational system from primary to university level, even other government organizations. This notarized document is recognized and accepted same as the docs translated by Canadian certified translator. She just threw out this doc without even a peek and directly say: I don’t know what this doc is, take it back. Luckily, I am working in immigration and education field with firm knowledge and updates on documentations. So I was able to explain to her patiently and convinced her to double check.Then after 5 minutes, she came back without any apology, just saying it’s ok. What do you mean by saying it’s ok. You didn’t do you homework. At least you should say I just know this doc is acceptable, sorry for the inconveniences.If no apology, not a issue. But the problem is the story never ends.After the agent accepted our notarized birth certificate, we added a fact that this was going to be a renewal of our daughter’s passport, we brought the same documents as those for the first passport application. So all supposed to be good to go.Then she surprisingly said: oh, this is a renewal? I don’t need the birth certificate. The. Threw it out again to us. Then started to realized she had just left the old passport on the left corner of her desk, and she forgot to open and check it first. She forgot to check the purpose of this appointment and forgot to follow the procedures on verifying documents.When an agent received a fold of documents from applicant, I guess the first thing to do is to know the purpose of the application. Then comes to docs check list. Finally comes to authentification of docs right?Most dramatically, the story never ends.For my daughter’s application today, we filled the same type of form and brought the same type of documents as those for my son.Unfortunately, this agent insists that there is no address sticker on applicant’s driver license, where the applicant is my husband and I am the guarantor, therefore she is not certain that the passport will be delivered to the right address. We explained to her that we are married couple and lived at the same address and moved in this address not long ago. My husband is also going to have the driving license updated this month. She insisted that this is a big issue as no guarantee for a proper delivery address.Then we mentioned about our application for our son a few days ago. It was the same driving license and same situation. What’s more, we had received my son’s new passport.She insisted and refused us.No problem. We will come back with a document which shows my husband’s name and the address on it.But for your own sake, kindly do your homework and be helpful. You are supposed to help not to make trouble!The most unbearable is the attitude. Very arrogant and disdainful!!

Very slow. Without appointment you have to wait two hours in welcome line minimum. The stuffs are chatting and laughing Inside the glass. Than another 3 hours after you get your number.

Went today May 4th,2023. In Out in 45mins, no appointment just walked in.

My passport application in total took me 4 hrs and got my passport in 2 days..the organization is so good and the staff have so much patience. I had a travel date of 48+hrs and the process was very quick. Saw people you got appointment very quickly for those who were travelling end of july. The lady Eve is commendable.
