This place used to be amazing but unfortunately (Corey) who was the front dest service agent left and now the owner (mark) deals with the customers. This is not a job Mark should do. He is very inept and horrible at communication. There has also been numerous occasions where they have been not able to correctly diagnose my issues and quoted me over $1000 for a $50 fix when I went to Midas.Don't risk it with Lee's.

I’ve been to these guys many times for my 74 Kombi. Even if I had an issue with their service, Mark was willing to help and even get his hands dirty to make things right. Have always left a happy customer.

I have been a customer for many years at Lees, i have always appreciated how knowledgeable and more important to me how trustworthy they are. I would feel comfortable recommending Lees Auto-Haus to anyone. thanks guys for taking such good care of me over the years.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We were passing through Nelson on our way to Banff when our engine light came on. Despite a 2 week work backlog, Ken had his guys scan the car and test drive it right away. It was a minor problem which they quickly resolved. Encouraging to see that this kind of customer service still exists. Thank you so much, Ken !!!

Buyer be warned. This maxim could not hold truer of an establishment. I came into Lees Auto Mechanic with a check engine light on a Subaru 02 Legacy. I had previously seen a mechanic in the United States who had advised of specific work needing to be done. I advised the staff of Lees Auto Mechanic of this. They ran diagnostics and could not find the same issue. They suggested that if it reappears to come in to have it re-examined at no cost. I have since returned just shy of six months with the same check engine light. They found the same issue that was first established in the United States and have asked me to pay a service fee again because this occurred outside of 30 days.I am understandably unhappy with this service. I appreciate that at the time they were unable to diagnose the issue. However to charge someone twice for the same service is frankly unfair.I came to Lees Auto Mechanic through word of mouth. To their credit they do take the time to explain what is going on with your car and it is my understanding that they are experienced with Subarus. However there are other mechanics in town. Simple research shows that their competition charge less and service Subarus. I suggest that you give them a chance.Other issues I came across were:- No replacement car.- Work took place over two days instead of one day which was initially agreed upon.- Did not the service the car despite this being requested.I am loathe to write a negative review but I feel that others should be warned before making the same mistake that I did. Buyer be warned.

BUYER BEWARE! These guys can't even change a battery! I brought my car in to have the battery changed and they fried a control module. Zero accountability, treated me horribly and had no idea of how to fix what they did. $2500 later, plus rental car costs and towing, I have my car back from a mechanic who actually had the proper equipment and knowledge to work on my import vehicle. These guys do not, do not go here.

True what the others say, this is a good honest shop. Been bringing several vehicles here over the years and have never felt gouged. Straight up and low key operation that seems to value repeat customers and out-of-towners equally.

I always know these guys are being honest with me. They're really great at finding parts for old Vehicles like my 87 Westfalia. Once I had a breakdown up in Jasper National Park no one around there knew anything about Volkswagens I called Corey at Lees Autohaus he found the part and shipped it to me up in Hinton Alberta said just come by and pay for it when you get back to town that's pretty great service.
