Hazelton's Gift Baskets

Ordered three gifts for Administrative Professional Day...Two for Toronto and one for Vancouver. All three gifts arrived on the day arranged, in great condition. The three recipients remarked on how lovely they were. Quoting I love everything about this basket! It’s better than the place we normally order from. Horrible experience. I googled basket delivery in a specific city to send to my relatives who were meeting for the weekend after a tragic death in the family. I wanted to surprise them with a nice basket. The site I found said one-day delivery and free local deliveries within that city. I assumed that it meant they would get it Fri or Sat. It was delivered on Monday after they had checked out of the hotel. The company was not local" so delivery had to cross Canada on business days only. I had even ordered the "fresh" strawberries - but they sent it out on Friday (I received a notice) and it arrived on Monday afternoon (after check-out). They were gone. I told my brother-in-law and he called the hotel to see if they could redirect it to the location of the tragedy nearby but the concierge said that it was already taken back by the shipping company so nothing could be done. I asked for a refund. No. I fought the charge on my credit card. No. I asked for a basket to be sent to another address. No. I am done now

I sent a basket for Father’s Day to my dad in Vancouver. I bought it 3 days before from Mexico, paid in pesos, no delivery charge and amazing prices. It was delivered before noon and it was huge!!! He was not hone and he found it at his door as if I had delivered it myself. My dad loved it!

BUYER BEWARE!! Wish I’d read the Google reviews before placing an order.Delivered 2 weeks late, full of mold and 3/4 unusable. Spent hours on the phone to the courier trying to find out why it was so late as Hazelton’s Canada wouldn’t help. Have been given less than 30% refund for 75% damage and was told by customer service they deemed it reasonable to consume the remaining products exposed to mold and shattered glass…Absolutely atrocious service from both Hazelton’s Canada and the courier Canpar.Would give negative rating if I could. They delete or do not approve negative comments on their website, if they receive anything in the service feedback form, suuuper dodgy.

Ordered a European style butter cream cake for my mom…everybody LOVED it! Delivery went super well…so 2 weeks later, I ordered it again for my daughters’ birthday. Living as an expat overseas, sadly means you miss a lot of events. The cake was a huge success, n was delivered correctly - even though I had the wrong student house! Hazelton’s your my go-to, I trust the quality n commitment. PS….the Mothers Day basket was a hit! ; )

We received a very large basket for Christmas from my husband’s employer. We were truly impressed and so delighted by the variety and quality of each product. Something for each family member. We showed pictures to our friends… They were so impressed! The basket alone is beautiful! We are keeping it for the future. Not like Costco or Big Box Store baskets! Gourmet and fine foods. Thank you Hazelton Gift Baskets, you are the best we’ve ever see ! Thank you Jack Daze for the thoughtful gift.

I purchased a gift basket for a friend that gave birth recently and not only were majority of the items in the order wrong, the worst part is they sent boy clothes for a newborn GIRL.Reached out to customer service who said. “Sorry items are substituted if what you ordered is unavailable and you agreed to not receiving a refund when you placed your order.”I understand that companies make substitutions but at least substitute the items for the same GENDER!!! Absolutely ridiculous considering the amount of money I paid for this and a total embarrassment that this was delivered to someone. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Take your business elsewhere.I wish I read Google reviews instead of the reviews on their website as it’s pretty evident they are deleting negative comments.

I placed an order for 4 cupcakes, a bottle of wine and a balloon to be delivered for a birthday surprise. I messed up on the delivery arrangement so that's on me, however, I ordered and paid for a Shiraz bottle of wine. They substituted with a completely different wine (not even a Shiraz) that my son said tasted awful and was clearly cheaper than the version I ordered. They never consulted on what they were going to substitute, and argue that they get too many orders to reach out to customers if substitutions have to be made. Nevertheless, another Shiraz should have been substituted. On top of that, the cupcakes arrived tossed all over inside the box. They refused a refund, stating that while the cupcakes were messed up, they were edible as they were still in the box and I should have ordered express delivery and that they don't recommend sending perishables. I pointed out express delivery would not make a difference if the handler was not careful and if they can't be confident to delivery perishables, they shouldn't offer that service. They stopped responding to my emails and never provided any form of refund. I have attached pictures. Presentation when sending a gift is important and this was an embarrassment for me.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ORDER!!! I would rate 0 stars if I could. HORRIBLE, please do not order this for your loved ones not even your worst enemy. Not Happy At ALL, This is very unacceptable, the entire box was delivered upside down- nothing outside on the box stating to be delivered right side up or with arrow. Whole Cake & cupcakes UPSIDEDOWN, orchid was DEAD! Fruit platter frozen & rotten grapes. All the flowers blooms and leaves have fallen off, ordered a grey/blue teething plush for a baby boy, she recevied a pink bunny instead. This gift was for my sister who is expecting her first child and was only hoping this website would be good because I live out of the country and in California. Please do NOT order here, they do not care at all. Good luck on reaching anyone regarding your order. I wish I knew … waste of time & money.
