EC Diamonds is, hands down, the best jeweller in the city. My fiancée and I visited more than a dozen jewellers and jewellery shops and as soon as we found and met with Michael at EC Diamonds, we knew that we’d found the right place. Quality was exceptional. Price was good value and our service with Michael was beyond anything we could have hoped for. He was always there for us, but no sales pitch - just a commitment to help. He focused on quality and backed it up with strong customer service. I’ll be recommending him and EV indefinitely.

I’m over the moon and in love with my engagement ring (and my fiancée). Michael should be everyone’s go-to-guy.I’ll be the first to admit that I’m very particular about what I like. I didn’t want to be surprised with a ring that’s an investment piece so I suggested to my fiancée that we go shopping together. So we did.For about 8 months we walked in and out of every bricks and mortar jewellery store including Spence Diamonds, etc. We then started making private appointments with custom designers. I was starting to feel disheartened as I had specific requests and everything I was seeing was bulky, way over-priced and I felt like I was being convinced to like what they carried and were able to make.Then we had an appointment with Michael and everything changed. If you want a fancy store, with a grand entrance and lighting, this isn’t for you (you’re going to pay a premium for that rent, renovation and staff). The product you get beats anything you’ll get anywhere.Michael immediately showed us diamonds to our preference and offered 3-D renderings to get a clearer vision. We even had a follow up appointment as I was getting paranoid that I wasn’t going to get what I wanted. Michael patiently walked me through every design element I had requested. I requested for the thickness of the band, placement, inward placement of the hidden halo stones. Michael has the craft nailed down and he also provided his recommendation to make sure the ring is durable for the future as I kept obsessing over a dainty ring. Also, it really helped to work with someone kind and collaborative.Once the design element was finalized, I left the rest of the communication to my partner.The ring is perfect, it’s exactly what I dreamt of and wanted. I’m going back to Michael for the wedding band and I’ll be recommending Michael to everyone I know.
