Shoppers Drug Mart

AWFUL!! Pharmacy didn’t fill my prescription until I called two weeks after my doctor sent it in. Then they didn’t inform me it was ready until I called again. When I said that wasn’t okay, she said, “well if you have such issues with our pharmacy, then go to another pharmacy”. They caused me to go a week without my medication and it’s my fault?? Not even the first time they’ve messed up either.

Never have a I seen such a level of incompetence concerning people in a health care field. Their pharmacy “team” is dysfunctional, uneducated and clearly not trained properly. People tell you your medications are not ready when they are, charge you a dispensing fee for the same medications you’ve been getting for years and have never paid a dispensing fee for. Not left a note on my file so I could hopefully stop running into the same issue alllllll the time. Zero comprehension displayed when customers explain the issue to them. I work in a health care field where filling scripts and dispensing meds is just 1/8th part of my job description. Their job is not hard, this location just hires incompetent people.

If would be helpful if Shoppers was familiar with the services that it offers. This Shoppers is not aware that Shoppers offers digital passports even though the in-store sign states they do. (See picture of sign and the computer -USB slot at the bottom right of the computer) Further, informed by staff Shoppers does photo copies however then informed by other staff otherwise. Then I inquired if someone could help because I saw a photocopier in the pharmacy but no the pharmacy at Shoppers would not help even in this time of importance. Perhaps Shoppers may want to consider learning the services the franchise offers and adhering to marketing , training employees and consideration helping customers in exceptional circumstances. With no other option, I was forced to drive to Peterborough, and pay for another set. A professional would have cost less and been more efficient. I've always liked coming to this shoppers, they are pretty nice people. They are always stocked up and it's a good place to quick shopping. I like that they get PC products in to, cheap air fryer!!

Worst prescription service l have ever had.Lined up to the door while only ONE person works cash while others are ignoring customers.The attendants can barley speak English and are very had to understand.The only good attendant has moved to food basics pharmacy where l will be moving my 500 dollars a month buissiness. Also they need a traffic light there.Imposible to go leftleft.wacomplaining

Just here to add my 1star review to the pile. 4 days to mix a basic cream prescription for my 2 month old daughter’s rash. When I went back in assuming it must be done, it wasn’t. But magically it just so happened to be ready 20 minutes later. Confident it would have never been filled had I not followed up in person. On a separate occasion was told it would take 2 hours to have a prescription transferred and filled from our previous pharmacy for my wife. 5 hours later when I called to inquire(15 minutes on hold) was told there was no record of the script, the request to have it transferred, or my wife at all. Don’t waste your time here, just go anywhere else.

Prescriptions frequently not ready for pickup even with advance notice and having received the your prescription is ready" email. Frequently make mistakes regarding prescription cycles. Will be finding a new pharmacy."
