Cantine Ben La Bedaine
We stopped here on our way through Quebec so we could experience some authentic Quebec poutine. I loved the retro theme and all, but the food was lacklustre for me, especially for the price. Honestly I think I’ve enjoyed poutine more at McDonald’s and my local restaurant in Ontario. Good curds, but that’s where it ended for me. The burger was good beef, but like others have mentioned, on the small side.

Bright, large, clean dining room. I had the Ben Bacon combo. A fresh meat hamburger with a poutine. While the hamburger was juicy as you would expect from a home made burger, the poutine was great. They were a bit stingy on the sauce, but, wait a minute, I tasted sauceless fries and they were very tasty without the sauce. So poutine or not, you are in for a good fry. Even if I'm not in the area, I will make a detour to go back there.

One of the best poutines I've ever had. The fries were perfectly cooked, the cheese was fresh, and the sauce tastes homemade. On top of that, the portions are generous and the staff is nice.

We were told that we had to go here for the very best poutine. Poutine they have, and a few other fried foods, but the menu is very limited. They also have an ice cream shop attached/incorporated. I can't say that the poutine was anything special: it tasted the same as the other three restaurants in town I tried the poutine maybe I'm just not a Poutine connoisseur.The ice cream, however, was very tasty. Soft ice cream with a lot of topping varieties.

Poutine has the holy Trinity. Squeaky curds meaty red potatoes fries and a good sauce. Staff can knock out large orders very efficiently and are very friendly.

Limited greasy spoon menu and prices seem a bit high, but food is fresh and restaurant is spotless, open very late every night.

Amazing poutine, totally worth the 10 min detour! Had one classic and another with bacon. Both were fantastic. The fries are not soggy, cheese curds in abundance, and delicious gravy. We also could not help but try their chocolate-dipped soft serve which was equally good! Will definitely be back on my next trip to the eastern townships.

A tasty cantine well known in Granby.If you are in the area definitely worth a stop but dont make a detour out of it.Its your typical burgers and poutine stop. Known by all the locals and pretty busy its a great alternative to the fast food giants

They say best poutine. To be honest when you clame yourself the best one and serve one of the worst I ate in my life. That is a shame. That is a cantine like others, nothing special about it except the retro vibe look of the building. fast and grassy food nothing more.

Love it!! The poutine is considerable pretty tasty and good portion, big pieces of cheese and the sauce perfecto! Great decor!!
