I recently sold my house in Ottawa, and purchased one in Timmins. This influenced my decision to go with the Riopelle Group, as they have offices in both locations, and it would be easier for the offices to communicate. Robert Riopelle handled the Ottawa end and I couldn’t be more pleased. They made the entire process of closing, payments, etc., utterly stress and hassle free, taking a huge weight off my shoulders. It should also be noted that beyond being extremely professional, everyone I communicated with was friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend Riopelle Group for you real estate needs.

It was chaotic and frustrating to say the least. However, Robert dealt with them in a knowledgeable, professional, and competent manner.Robert is an astute and diligent lawyer. He picked-up on vendor's mistake in the registration of our Condo Units (which was overlooked by all of the other vendor/condo lawyers). This would/could have caused much problems and grief, for owners, at a later date. Was given the most basic information when completed mine and my mother’s will together. After my mom passed away only then did the lawyer tell me that we should have done ‘estate planning’ and not just our wills. She could have at the least advised us of that when we were there as we did not know the services were separate. As a result it ended up costing me $40K to close my mother’s affairs when it could have been free if we were properly advised.

After a slow start, they came through and did a great job. Ask for Melanie Mulund she's extremely thorough. You can't beat their prices for Wills. They even dropped the price dramatically due to the slow start. Now that's what I call customer service. We will be dealing with them for years to come.

We had our first meeting by phone with Mélanie Nylund on December 13th 2021 to start our family wills. By May 5th 2021 (almost 5 months later) our wills still not done. We sent emails that were not answered, I even had to visit the office and ask when our wills would be finished. Eventually due to the non communication and length of time to prepare our wills we went somewhere else and the process is moving along at a great pace. We don’t recommend working at this firm.
