Surecraft Developments/Ken Kruper built our home in Nanaimo while we lived in Edmonton. Building a home from a distance is a complex endeavour; Ken guided us through the process all the way. He communicated with us frequently and was never too busy to answer our questions. He worked within our budget and provided regular updates. He is a perfectionist and he only used subtrades that met his standards. He closely supervised all aspects of the construction and ensured that local building regulations were met or exceeded. The construction of our home is exceptional, and we would highly endorse him as a custom home builder. We have lived in our home for over 8 years and still have not a single issue. We love our house and even now we have strangers who come to our door and tell us how beautiful our home is!

Surecraft (Ken) completed a total renovation of our 3500 square foot home. The project was completed on time and on budget. We will soon be celebrating our 4th Christmas in our house, we took possession of our new build November 4th, 2015. We have built several times and our experience with Surecraft far exceeded our expectations. The level of professionalism, eye for detail and utter commitment to the project makes Ken the premium builder on central Vancouver Island! Our project was on schedule and on budget throughout! Ken was hands on, onsite on a daily basis. Everyone of his trades were amazing long time employees and extremely respectful and accommodating. It was the cleanest building and site under construction that we've ever seen and received accolades from our new neighbours. My husband and I have built 3 new homes on Vancouver Island since we retired from Calgary in 2008.We built our first home with Ken Kruper while we were still living in Calgary. The quality of our first home was like nothing we had ever experienced in Calgary. We told Ken we had a very limited budget. Ken told us he would build the home like it was his own and could build a lovely home on our budget. He got us the best quality at the best price for every single item in our home. He sent us progress pictures daily. He called us three or four times a week to chat. We truly felt a part of the build while we were in Calgary. We loved our home and he kept us on budget!We built a second home with Ken In 2011. Both homes in Nanoose were difficult builds due to the rocky, steep lots we had purchased. Again, Ken delivered a second gorgeous home on a limited budget. We decided to build the second home as a spec home. We sold it very quickly at a considerable profit due mostly to the great quality of construction. Ken is on site every day and keeps close tabs on his trades.The third lot was unfortunately owned by a large builder in Parksville. We loved the lot but sadly understood we could not build with Ken this time. The builder was an established builder so we did not think we would experience problems. We were naive. We thought all builders would have Ken standards. This could not be further from the truth. It turned out to be a terribly difficult build. There was little to no communication and unlike Ken, this builder did not live by the same ethical, moral standards Ken lives by.We recommended Ken to very good friends of ours. They loved working with Ken and were delighted with their new Surecraft home.If you decide to choose Ken for your home build, you will find his communication skills and high standards to be refreshing.
