Walked from the 'Historic Buildings' which is full of tourist shops plus one expensive gentlemen's outfitters back to our cruise ship. Really impressed with the walk and clearly alot of money has and, is still being spent. Lots of eating places for all wallets and souvenir shops and plenty of things for kids to do. We walked on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy with locals with kids so, clearly popular. Some modern art along the walk as well. Recommended

The Halifax Harbour Boardwalk was a great experience. So many little shops, cafes, restaurants, coastal views and plaques with interesting historical details. A couple of museums along the way. Worth checking out. You could easily spend a half day or more if you check out the museums in the area. The tourist information centre in the middle is a great resource and the people we talked to there were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The Halifax Harbour Boardwalk was such a cute walk in Downtown Halifax. So many things to see and do. Hammocks to hang out in, beautiful chairs along the boardwalk to sit and enjoy the day. Not much to do" during the winter months as tourist season is not open until May but you still get to enjoy the essence of Halifax."
