Excellent service! I've had to do a few notaries with this lawyer, and I will be making an appointment to do my Will shortly. She is extremely knowledgeable, and Valerie took her time to explain to me what I needed to think about before I make my Will. I have referred friends and family to this lawyer because I trust her 100% Valerie genuinely has her clients' best interest. When you find a good lawyer you stick with them. Do yourself a favour and call her today.

I was working with another service who uses this person for notary services. Once I contacted her, Ms Yap scheduled a meeting without stating EST after the time, despite knowing I was on the west coast. I was not made aware at any time that she was in the east so of course I missed the meeting. When I found out what happened, I emailed her and she emailed a response with a new time for less than an hour from the time she sent the email. I didn’t receive the message and didn’t confirm, but she then claimed I had missed TWO meetings that she insisted she should be paid for. She took the money for nothing, then requested an additional $50 for a new meeting. I am left with no notarized documents and I’ve paid $120. I later found out she had done the same thing to at least three other people. She then harassed me with several emails insisting it was my error. 11 messages at this point, and they keep coming. She has been extremely rude and I believe her to be dishonest and completely focused on payment only. I warn anyone to avoid using her services.

I initially used Valerie to notorize a document and it was a quick and efficient process. I decided to update my will and again had no difficulties. The family decided to get our mother’s will updated taking advantage of the in-home service. This worked wonderful due to mobility issues and her age. Valerie was extremely patient and respectful with this senior citizen. She answered her questions calmly and was able to reassure that all was well. An example of this was my mother’s concern that she did not know one of the witnesses (my neighbour). Valerie was able to explain to her that this was an advantage as the witness was not receiving any inheritance. Our family is more comfortable knowing this essential document has been updated so easily.

She even had a phone consultation with me and went through each statement that would be written on the document before finalising it.
