Legacy Auto Mechanic

I paid 2000 for a major tune up. It seemed a bit excessive and I didn't get a well written receipt. Mo is a good worker but swore that my trailer hitch was not compatible with the voltage of my car. I brought it to an RV place and they cited immediately yes it is and it was a lousy grounded wire causing issues with the car. Funny that it ran well for 3 years then after the tune up it didn't.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!Wish I could give no stars at all, he told me he had a brother who could do my box 2 inspection but after I towed my car to his shop and paid him he changed his story to his brother is in Duncan and might be able to but I'd have to take my car there, even though I specifically towed it to him for this issue, I've been scammed out of 600+ dollars with nothing to show for it. Never trust this place to even change a tire

So this is my story Saturday afternoon my car was loud, really loud! and I could smell something too. I called legacy Auto, I got told to come in so he could check it. Fast forward to Monday 8am Moh was so nice. My flex pipe opened due to wear and tear. Of cause it was a snow day. I arrived he hoisted up my car and actually showed me what was wrong. He gave me a quote and time frame AND stuck to it. I was the first car he worked on and I know he had a full day head of him. He also took the time to check my brakes, and topped up the oil in my car. My lungs and ears are forever grateful for this.TLTR: first car, showed me the problem, got quote and stuck to it. Car fixed.

Edit. Haven't been to these guys in 5 years, I stopped going after the owner charged me $50 to tape up plug tubes which failed the next day. I spent the $60+ on new parts and did it myself.They did get us out of a jam 2 days before xmas one year though. I had them work on 4 different vehicles with success before the plug incident. You could do worse but I dont go to them anymore.

This guy welded my tire rod end back on my truck and told me it was fixed and I had to take it to another shop to get it fixed this is a 3 ton commercial vehicle there’s no way this kind of work will pass safety inspection also doubled the quote and try to tell me he worth way more hours than he actually did

Excellent mechanic. Will do his best to work with you and find a solution that fits your needs. Old school mechanic with lots of experience.

Highly recommend going in and speaking to Moh, He's a good mechanic and he's not in the business of ripping you off. I was very happy with the work done here and their communication. They let me know exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The pricing is very good and the service was fast. I highly recommend the mechanical work here.

It was Victoria long weekend and my car was over heating. I went to a jiffy lube and the guy said I had a broken water pump. I bought the part and went to Moh at legacy repairs and he fixed it for me super quick and super cheap. He only charged me for labour. Nice guy and good at what he does.

The service at Legacy was prompt and polite. I'm from out if town and my brakes developed an issue. I was extremely happy with the service provided. They deserve much respect and my appreciation for a good job done at a reasonable price. I gave them 4 stars only because I have never give any business 5 stars.
