We had an issue in back flow valve, our regular plumber who install it in 2015 came and charge $400 to test and give us the report as valve failed the test and repairing will cost $900+We called Markham Back-flow, they came in time as scheduled.Test the valve, repair in few minutes and test again. He charged us $200 for test and repair was free as it was a small little fix – remove the metal piece from the valve that was causing the problem.Professional service, no charge for traveling from Markham to Airport area. Very reasonable price.

I was referred to Markham Backflow from a colleague of mine to inspect and test my backwater valve and floor drain that was recently installed due to a minor backup of water in my basement. This was the second time I had an issue with water backing into my basement due tree roots getting into clay sewer pipes. I did not want this problem to happen a third time and I wanted the problem solved once and for all. The installation of the entire sewer line, backflow preventer and relocation of the floor drain was done by another contractor a year ago, but it has been a year since it was checked. When Len came he was very professional and considerate of my basement as it was recently renovated. He inspected the floor drain to the sewer line and showed me the condition of the drain pipes. At the same time, he also checked my backflow preventer to ensure that the flap was working as intended and it was. He was very knowledgeable and gave me also some tips for maintaining the floor drain and backflow preventer. Although his crew didn’t do the installation of the backflow preventer and the relining of the sewer line, I was very pleased with his professionalism, experience and knowledge of the drainage in my home eventhough it’s an older home. I would definitely use their services again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Markham Backflow.
