budget car truck rental, Hamilton/Mount Hope Airport (YHM)

Ask for Ish at the Hamilton Airport Budget.. What a real, sincere human being. Our flight was cancelled, so we had to change our pick up time for the car, (which was clean and beautiful.) He gave us another phone number so we could let him know our new arrival time. Our outgoing flight was also cancelled, and again he made it easy for us. We will only rent from Budget because of Ish, ( well, plus they had the best prices)

Even with a confirmed reservation no one was there to give the car. I called several times on customer service and no one was able to help me.

Rented car for 12 AM and then arrived at set time. Waited for 30 min and no one showed at empty counter. Buget site says open till 1 AM. Phone number in email and on this google page was for Avis not Budget aswell. Lame.

The rental experience dealing with employee Ish was amazing. He was very pleasant, he knew his stuff, and was very efficient on both different occasions that I dealt with him. It was a pleasure dealing with such an individual. Despite having to deal with flight cancellations and delays for my father's funeral.

The rental vehicle that we got stunk like cigarettes even though I was told that that all vehicle's are non smoking, so we had to deal with that smell as they rented out all other vehicle's. The vehicle that we received was also not washed as there was window paint on the rear driver side door window.

Very unpleasant rental. Long wait at counter. Only 1 person was there which made it more lengthy process.KMs were more than what they stated in rental agreement. Gas was not full, and they wrote full gas on agreement. Make sure to take pictures of Gas tank meter, mileage as soon as you as you rent from them. They are trying to scam people with inconsistent odometer and per km charges.Car was not clean and wipers were not in best condition.I don't recommend getting rental from them at all.

Do not rent a car here if you want to pick up your car at 5 am when you come of a flight. Though they advertise they open at five and you have a reservation they will not be at the counter and even if they show up they will say they have no cars despite your reservation.

Our flights were continuously delayed.Ish was so accommodating! I can’t praise this location enough. He gave me his cell phone number, we communicated as to arrival and he had someone at the desk waiting for us upon our arrival at 5:45 am. to provide us with our vehicle. Thank you!! You have no idea what it meant to us.Going above and beyond.

Absolutely the worst budget location in the World. I have rented all over the World but this location is by far the worst.I reserved for 6am when they open. I waited for two hours and no one showed up. I called budget and they said it is supposed to be open at 6am on Saturday. Their website says the same.At 8:13am the rep arrives and I ask him if I could have the car. He says no. He has other locations to tend to. He will be back at noon and only then he will be able to give me the car. I had already waited two hours and he wanted me to wait another four. I requested him to please give me the car but very rudely he said that I made my reservation last night and there are people who made reservations months back so he will first attend to them. Upon saying this he stormed out of the location.
