He found what I was looking for, so helpful and suggested other items like the mattress pad and bambo sheets.Prior to BSC, I went to another retailer that didn’t ask those questions. Great customer service, we bought our last mattress 14 years ago from Best Sleep Centre. We had such a great experience back then, that it was the only place we thought to go when we needed it to be replaced. Gary is amazing, he is super helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for asking. I had no plans to compose a review but I am writing my experience since I was asked for my experience in the comments. I was initially planning to leave only one star but to be fair, I was given the answer to my query at least in part (as I realise now). I was there to enquire about mattresses as a beginner in this city and being a student, I wanted to plan my expenses. When I was expressing my query, I was abruptly interrupted and asked about the budget and I told about 160 – 180 (I was not completely aware of the market) and the sales person told me that there was nothing at the price and further seemed keen to drive me off when he said that the store is a high end one. He also asked me to go check other stores. The fact that he kind of gave me some partial information is the one that warranted the one extra star that I gave. To be honest I could have easily checked online and found out that mattresses could be availed at similar prices from other online websites. But instead I had to go through the pain of going there in person to enquire and was told off instead of being told something like there might be something for a bit higher budget. About the 250$ mattresses mentioned on the comment, I was not even given a brief of what mattresses were available or at what prices they come at just cause the sales person did not completely hear my query. To be honest, I could have raised my budget if I felt that it would have been worth it (if I was that tight with the budget, I would have checked the second-hand market). I could have even gone for a more expensive one later on from the store; all that if the person had been a bit nicer. I had recently been to Ikea where the people handled customers with much better attitude. They even went to the extent of explaining size and softness based classifications of mattresses. I understood that the sales person at the store might have driven me off because they are looking at getting deals on more expensive ones than the ones I was considering. Budget is important but many other factors go into what a customer considers, especially the ones that come to the store in person. I don’t really mind if I get no response to this review. The reason I had no plans to write a review was that I was kind of considering the possibility that I might be the only one who had an experience like this and I did not want to cloud others’ judgements based on just my experience. In the end, the rating is not about any product or availability, it’s about how you made a potential customer feel. The bottom line is that the sales guy performed quite poorly today. I may not yet be sure about which store to pursue next for purchasing a mattress, but it’s clear to me which one I should avoid.

Was recently in and dealt with James Haines and he was an absolute pleasure to work with, listened to my budget and kept it in mind continuously. I never once felt pressured to go with them and he was very professional. I can say with confidence we will be back here in the future, no gimmicks just how much do you want to spend and which bed do you like. If you’re in search of a new mattress or bed set I can’t recommend Best Sleep enough.
