Last Gamestore

A solid selection of games - both video games and modern board games. Staff are friendly, and try to promote a positive community experience during local gaming events (which The Last Game Store hosts and promotes). TLGS is good about trying to special order / preorder items upon request, and in my experience provides timely and candid feedback as to whether their efforts are successful or if there are distribution snags. Worth your time to visit both the store and any after-hours or weekend gaming events they host.

I love going here. They have so many old games that are hard to find, sometimes in mint condition! It's also a great gift shop. I'm sure any gamer would love to see this store, and I'm even more certain that once you've been there, you'll keep going back. Also, the music is perfect! If you've never been there, seriously go, and bring a friend, it makes it so much more fun. I'm not a big spender, but I've never left this place empty handed. There's always something new!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and owner. Always gives very honest opinions on games and has a great selection. Adam will not hesitate to tell how to get the best value for your money. Also gives great trade-in value even on older games. They even have great wearables and collectibles. 10/10 would buy all video games here.

Really great place. Been going there since I was a kid, They have a great selection of games, especially if you are looking for a lot of the more niche stuff. Really great prices and they give pretty good deals on trade ins. Highly recommend this place to any and all hardcore gamers.

Great selection of used games for just about every console from the last couple generations. They also carry peripherals for new and old machines.They've recently added a board game section as well with some of the best prices in the city.They have frequent sales on holidays too.

Nice smaller selection of games, new and old, console and board. I hadn't physically seen an Atari 2600 cartridge in a long while! The proprietor was helpful and canny. Recommended!

Never had any issues with the store and went regularly to check out the selection (just getting around to doing a review now)People consistently complain about high prices whereas they’re usually matched or better that what you can find online. Uneducated people are thinking they should be able to buy retro games at a “dime a dozen” mentality when that’s not how the retro sales work. Remember that when buying a used retro game, that the game is no longer in print, so there is a finite amount of the game now in the world they dwindles daily based on copies getting thrown out, damaged, or lost, thus making the market value of these steadily more rare games, go up. The Last Game Store is an absolutely the best retro store I’ve ever been to and probably will. 5/5, check it out!

As someone who isn't into retro gaming, or even console gaming, there's not a whole lot there for me. Staff seemed friendly even if I didn't purchase anything. Prices were overall pretty fair, some items seemed a little gouged but that's to be expected on some niche products. I would definitely recommend stopping in to take a look.

The last gamestore has the widest variety of video games I've seen. Great staff who are helpful and knowledgeable about the games and the many systems and accessories. They've been able to do special orders on new games my daughter was looking for and offer great trade-in credit. Highly recommended.

Hands down my favourite store in Nova Scotia and I’m even happier they introduced board games a while back because now it is my go-to for every time of gaming. Prices are completely fair, especially with a lot of the rare stuff that is brought in. I love that the store supports local artists as well by having some of their merchandise available.Staff is consistently helpful, friendly and great to talk to for recommendations for video and board games alike. I love that I’m able to go into the store to look around and chat without feeling like I am being hounded to buy something. It makes the environment comfortable, plus I know I’m being told the truth for recommendations - not just being sold something for the sake of selling. I’d give the Last Game Store higher than a 5/5 if Google would let me.
