Eggcetra Breakfast Cafe
Tried this place for brunch over the weekend as most other places were full or had a long wait/lineup. Honestly, we did not have a very good experience here. First off, we were sat at a table with menus, then told to stand up and punch our order into an iPad. We went to do this and a man stopped us, got us to verbally tell him the order, while he punched the order in on the iPad. Why not just take orders at the table like a normal restaurant? They also force customers to pay and tip upfront before getting food or service (like a fast food place) which I don’t think is fair, since there is no way to judge service and tip accordingly. Water is in paper cups, is lukewarm, and you have to serve yourself. The food itself was nothing to write home about. Portions felt small for the prices and we left hungry still. We had the mountain breakfast and the back bacon Benny. The hash brown sticks tasted store bought and the bacon was dry and hard. Thankfully the eggs were poached properly. Also, the cutlery they provide is extremely strange and is round all the way around, making it impossible to hold and cut your food properly. Overall, we were very disappointed in the experience and will not recommend this place or return.

Went here for the first time today. I was so impressed! Very classy place. Nice decor smart sharp lines. Nice tables and super comfy chairs! I also noticed how clean it was! Now for the food…WOW! The food was amazing and presentation was top notch. The orange juice is PURE oranges! You will never go back to drinking anything else. I will def be going back here. I would 100% recommend visiting this little place.

Went with my family for Sunday brunch. Got seated right away with menu. You have to walk to the cashier when you are ready to order and serve your own water. Expect 15% gratitude fee plus tip for 5 or more people for bringing out your foods to your table. The food was okay.

I ordered: Chicken Waffle, very fluffy waffle and super juicy fried chicken paired with homemade butter and syrup. The combination is very tasty!! Definitely will come back again!

This cute cafe in South Surrey boasts a great sized menu, beautiful brunch, coffees and more. I ordered a sandwich and a latte for my first meal here and they did not disappoint. My turkey-avo sandwich was yummy and filling! The mushroom soup was homemade and delicious. The latte was pretty good, too.I hope to return soon to try their eggs benedict. The space is spacious and welcoming, same with their kind staff. It’s so nice to see a cool brunch spot in Surrey!

Blackstone Benny. This tasted very good. The egg was perfectly poached and runny when you cut it. They café is small so seating could be tight as you enter. You will need to order and pay for your food and the servers will bring it to your table. The hashbrown sticks were crispy but it was just ok in my opinion. I like it the traditional way.

Our new go-to brunch spot!What we love about this place: The friendly staff, simply fresh food menu items, selection of organic tea, and of course the cold pressed orange juice. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant! Super impressed.

Eggcetra Breakfast Cafe
Place was fairly busy and had a huge selection of dishes. I had the chicken & waffles and it was fairly good. The only thing that could have been better was the chicken. It wasn't very crispy and could have been juicier with better seasoning. Overall the portions were huge and we ended up over ordering with the sides of bacon and egg.
