Shelly & Angie took great care & resolved all my issues I had with Markville Michael Hill location, funny & straight forward people. Attitude was amazing I would prefer to drive there from Scarborough anytime.

My family and I are long time customers of Michael Hill, and have been shopping at the company for several years. My mom went in to get a ring sized she recently purchased for Christmas and received horrible customer service at the Pickering location. There was bad attitude, eye rolling, and all around bad customer service. To get disrespected by employees who are suppose to represent the company, and make us feel welcomed and helped, is such a disappointment. I thought Michael hill is a company that valued respect, kindness, embraced diversity, but clearly they do not. I will never be shopping at the Pickering location ever again, and I think it’s time I find another company to shop at. The manager at the Pickering location should really address their employees on how to respect and treat others.

I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia, Matthew and Angie while shopping for a bracelet last week. What an amazing Team! They were able to help us find exactly what we were looking for, at our target price, all while laughing through the whole process. What a breath of fresh air! I will return to this location solely due to the service I received from this awesome Team.

My experience at Michael Hill was nothing short of Amazing. Olivia & Sonja were both super helpful. They made me feel really comfortable the moment I walked inside the store. I have never had such a fun yet professional experience from a jewelry store before. The whole energy inside the store was so positive and their prices were amazing! I was expecting high prices because of how beautiful the store looks but i was amazed at the different ranges of prices they had. I wont be going to any other jewelry store other than Michael Hill! Give the team inside this store a promotion!Thank you Olivia, Sonja and the rest of the team!Cant wait to shop here again.

We met with the store manager Olivia who guided us to our first ever diamond purchase. We were met with utmost courtesy and dealt with in a very friendly and professional manner. We also received a gift on our purchase! I rate it highly and recommend their services.

A HUGE thank you to Angie - tonight, my partner and I went in to browse at engagement rings: to get a better understanding and see what I liked vs what I didn’t like, as pictures and reality offer very different perspectives. It was quite overwhelming to say the least, but Angie made this process easier; she sat with me and asked me questions regarding what I liked and what I didn’t. She took the time to truly understand my responses and interests, and took the time to speak with my partner and discuss his questions. She brought beautiful recommendations - some that were never on my radar to begin with! While we are still in the process of browsing, it was truly a pleasure to work with her - she was very honest (in a positive way) and helped guide us in the right direction. Her support and expertise was the little light at the end of the tunnel that we didn’t realize we needed :)

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring two years ago at the Michael Hill, Pickering Town Centre location and we had to come back for our wedding bands because of their amazing customer service! We had the opportunity to work directly with the manager, Olivia, who provided outstanding customer service, and was able to prepare our desired rings in a short amount of time.

I don’t wear a lot of jewelry but the one piece that I do, I purchased from here. Both experiences have been absolutely amazing! Both times I felt completely at ease, never once pressured, have received excellent prices and have left extremely happy! The ladies working here are just good people with amazing customer service skills.

This isn't so much about this location, as it is about the company policies, training and consistency. So they have a sale on pendant & necklaces, but they didn't have the piece that I wanted at Pickering. It was at Scarborough though, whom I asked if they would do a store transfer to Pickering? Note that I was told by the Oshawa Store that I could do intra-store transfers with no mention of a minimum but when I asked Scarborough the answer was a no, the purchase had to be a minimum of $100. Now the lady at Pickering is going to see" if they can and talk to the Manager which is nice but. My point is this: I am continually reminded at just how poor retailers are getting with customer service - the employees are constrained by corp policies
