Nails For You

After I moved to Canada I tried a bunch of places and I was always disappointed how they did my nails so I had to stop wasting my money. Someone suggested me this place and I was skeptic in the beginning but tbh I had the best experience ever. My nail tech in Oanh and she never disappoints me. I suggested to all my friends/family and everyone loves her. SHES THE BEST.

Short story: Peeled off my acrylic nails (which is very damaging) until I requested acetone. Very rude.I have bad nail removal experiences but this one takes the cake. First I asked to get them removed and the ladies kept on asking if I wanted add ons when I made it very clear that I didn’t. They may have just wanted business so I’ll let it slide but my treatment afterwards was uncalled for. When i’m called in to removal my nails, the lady proceeds to bring out an artificial nail tip and scraped and peels my nails off with it. Anyone who does their nails often knows that you should never peel off your nails to keep them healthy. The fact that the worker did that was very unprofessional. Once my nails started to hurt I requested acetone which the lady pulled out easily. What I don’t understand is why she didn’t use the acetone before? This store clearly rushes customers and doesn’t care about the damage they do. I was also charged $20 dollars for this terrible removal instead of $10 just because I didn’t do any extra nail things. If that’s how you want to charge me sure I won’t argue but at least do your job properly!Below I’ll be posting the photo difference of the acetone removal vs. the peel off. With the peel off, the nail is red and damaged and flexes easy. With the acetone the nail is shown to be healthier and doesn’t bend as easily.And I don’t want any comments about how my nails are naturally thin because I have very strong nails and my usual complaint with nail removals is that they always shave my real nails too thin. Which i’ll give the salon points for not doing.

Horrible experience today at this salon. This was my first time trying this salon as I was already in the mall. I wish I read the reviews first. Got a shellac manicure. It was super rushed and she did a bad job on my cuticles - I still have so much skin from hangnails on nearly half of my fingers. Polish was applied on my skin in addition to my nails, and to top it all off, she cut my cuticle and it started bleeding.. to which she responded “oh!” Now I’m worried that their tools aren’t clean, based off of how many people in the reviews say they have been cut and infected after leaving this place. At the very least, I am hoping to God that they clean their tools. Safe to say I will not be visiting again.

oanh oanh is the best thing that ever happened to my nails!!! i love her style and speed and efficiency! so happy with her work every time! this is the set she did for me today and i’m always happy with what she does!

My go-to nail salon! I've been going to this salon for 4 years now. Highly recommend to book with Jenn! She is very educated on all things nails and is able to make all of your nail inspirations come to life! She also takes her time throughout the entire appointment and communicates with you to ensure that you will leave the salon happy beyond expectations. Each appointment is custom from shaping to design! Over the years we have done some of the coolest designs that I'm still obsessed with! Definitely book with her, and you will not be disappointed! (I've added some of my favourites that she's done)

Anna (my regular manicurist) takes her time when doing my deluxe pedicure. I feel so relaxed & my feet feel so clean every time that going to her has become my monthly indulgence. She also takes care of nails so that my manicures look neat and last a long time. Plus, she makes really cool designs. The other ladies are also very talented and know their trade, they have plenty of color choices, and their shop is clean and bright. They also try their best not to overbook and keep timely appointments. I've tried other salons but always go back to this one.

I’ve been going to Nails For You at Erin Mills for awhile now and I love them! Most of the time I see Oanh Oanh (nail artist) she does the most phenomenal job and is very precise on creating the best nail looks for me. I’m a huge french manicure girl and her lines are so clean.I also love how friendly Mary and Haley are, when I go with my mom and sister those are the two other nail artist I usually ask for :)

I got my nails done 2 weeks ago and I'm so dissapointed. I cringe when I see my nails .. I wanted to get them removed but haven't gotten the time and also really feel like a waste of money as I thought I'd have them on for about 4 weeks. I noticed her applying the gel so untidyly but everytime I tried to say something she kept saying she will fix it in the end and in the end I noticed she just wrapped up quickly and left her station.Each of my nail bed has a different size some flatand others dented.My natural nail beds are better looking than this.Would never visit here again.
