Ordered a chocolate truffle cake with pink, yellow & blue flowers for my 6-year-old’s birthday. We asked for it to be colourful. It was BROWN. And the writing looked like it had been done by a 5-year-old.When I pointed out that it was supposed to be colourful, they said “chocolate truffle cake doesn’t get more colourful”.So I brought the cake to Dairy Queen, where they removed the truffles and writing and added colour, and put the truffles back on the sides.Cake was delicious, but NOT what I ordered. And not appropriate for a 6-year-old birthday.WILL NOT RETURN.Photos: (1) White & Brown cookie from the original cake. (2) After Dairy Queen made it colourful!

This is without a doubt the best bakery in town. My favourites are the round sunflower loaf, the cheese bread and the Boston brown bread. Their Black Forest cake is delectable and light (not in calories!). If you want a delicious lunch or something tasty to take home for supper, you won’t be disappointed. The owner and his employees are very helpful and friendly, which creates a great atmosphere for customers.

‏I recently visited Happy Baker and had a wonderful experience. The bakery has a charming atmosphere and offers a wide variety of fresh products. I particularly enjoyed their ice cream, especially their baby-sized cone which was more than enough for me. In the attached photo, you can see the delightful baby-sized ice cream I had, costing $7.76 including tax. My friend ordered a coffee with a cherry tart, priced at $8.86 including tax, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. I loved that the coffee could be customized by ourselves with sugar, milk, and cream. One of the best things about Happy Baker is that it remains open until 8 PM even on Sundays, making it a perfect spot for Sunday night fun.

Every time I feel like I need a treat, I head to The Happy Baker. Their lunch soups are the best with such a great variety. I haven't tasted one I haven't loved yet. The home-made bread - YUM. And those peanut butter balls though ... what a lucky place to be living with a gem like this amongst us.

June 29 2023 Bakery needs to show prices for breakfast menu, subs and soups. Lovely menu above order area, but not 1 price listed on it. Please, please write them in big and bold so we can see them. Food was great! :) no issues there! :) had a pulled pork breakfast sandwich for 7.25$ and a large cheesecake brownie for 5.25$ :)We also bought a Texas Breakfast Sandwich which should have had chipotle aioli in it, but the brisket was very dry and there was zero chipotle aioli sauce in it. :(

Arrived and was disappointed there was no homemade ice cream. Bought a couple cookies instead.

I used to really love eating here until the last few orders of their ‘Bacon Not Stirred’ was made with severely undercooked bacon (raw) that I couldn’t even stomach another bite & had to throw it out. Ironically the eggs were over cooked & hard around the center so I had to rip off the edges before trying to eat it. I know they are under new management so I’ll absolutely blame this unfortunate change in quality because of that. Avoid if you don’t want to get sick.

Get the Old Faithful breakfast sandwich - best I've ever had! Delicious French toast as well. Very kind staff, and large variety of desserts, breads, sandwiches, and ice creams.
