Everyone on here it botching about mosaic putting gates up and blocking access but no one’s saying why. The amount of illegal dumping ands illegal firewood cutting I would do the same thing. .and have you all forgot that mosaic employs so many people

Absolutely ridiculous this company disallows people to access local wildlife and forests.Also, they are completely stupid. Phoned about small scale salvage rights. The receptionist didn’t know what “salvage” meant, kept asking “firewood? you mean firewood?”. I explained saying it would be for non-structural deck railing. Then she tried to convince me, “actually, a deck is structural”. Yeah not the railing. Wasn’t able to transfer me to someone who actually knew what they were talking about, hung up in a rage. Totally dumb.

Pretty well hated company on VI. Talk to anyone that doesn't work for them and you'll see. They gate off access to so many areas locals used to enjoy for hiking and what-not. We should petition to ouster them from here.

Horrible company. Their gates are a constant pain whenever you’re trying to do recreational activities outside of official parks and such. This company makes the island a worse place to live. You literally can’t go into the forest ANYWHERE without getting in trouble by them. The tone of the rest the reviews should give you an idea of how much people hate this company.

Corporate behemoth that has destroyed many aspects of public access and enjoyment of lands that rightfully belong to all people of BC. Their forestry and public relations practices are an absolutely shameful disgrace to those here at home as well as rest of the world.

Can't believe how mosaic hasn't stepped up to help west coast folks get back to the east side during this fire. There are at least 2 ways out which mosaic controls and have chosen not to allow the public through. Shameful.

Booked our anniversary weekend at king fisher for the sole purpose to hike Comox Glacier hike with my wife. Mosaic had the gate closed even though we had checked earlier and were assured it would be open.

I am pretty sure this company has a side agenda of reserving every parking stall in Nanaimo and then never using it. So many reserved spots behind the building, which is prime parking for the lack of parking in the front. They are never being used and I don't think that they could even fit that many people in the office they occupy. Icing on the cake for an industry that could use a bit of PR help.
