Josh is a great teacher. Incredibly patient and encouraging. I have played drums for many years and needed some help going back to fundamentals and basics. Josh always made me feel comfortable in the lessons and challenged me to make me a better drummer. Can’t thank him enough

Have been learning drums with Josh for two months. Josh is a very friendly and passionate teacher. He is very knowledgeable in drum and teaches me various drum skills. I started the lesson as a newbie and I 've really made some progress during these two months. 100% recommend Josh for those who wanna learn drum!

Josh Lane is an amazing drum teacher! Our son studied with him online via zoom and absolutely loved it! He has a fun and dynamic teaching style and is an extremely talented and knowledgeable musician. He naturally connects with kids and keeps the class 100% engaging. Our son greatly improved his playing during the time he studied with Josh. I highly recommend him!

I was a complete beginner when I started taking lessons with Josh. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and set out achievable goals for me each week. Josh is energenic and lives for drumming. His teaching style is not to push me so much that I was overwhelmed, but to teach me the steps I needed to work on to proceed to the next level. That made my lessons and practising fun. Josh always started my lessons on time and at no point did he ever have his attention diverted from my lessons. Those two things are very importaant to me. Josh is very professional and an awesome drummer!!! Enjoy your lessons with him!

Taking lessons with Josh has been a wonderful experience, he brings his advanced drumming knowledge and fun personality into his lessons to create a fun environment for students. I began lessons not knowing anything about drums, and although i'm still learning everyday, josh has helped me become much more confident behind the kit.

Josh is an excellent drummer and a great teacher. He breaks down the most difficult stuff into something that is easy to understand. The lessons would push you into a better drummer by introducing new stuff at every lesson that would be uncomfortable/difficult at first while keeping it fun.Josh is also a very knowledgeable and resourceful drummer. He gives his students recommendations on learning materials, shows, and songs to listen to based on interests and skill level. Would definitely recommend his lessons for anyone who are interested to start learning how to play drums or experienced drummers interested in learning his style and signature chops!

I'm thankful I had Josh be my guide for learning how to drum. He's very passionate about what/how he teaches. He also goes the extra mile to curate his lessons to fit not only the speed of your progression, but to fit the style of music you enjoy as well. His enthusiasm in getting you onboard with the basic techniques and fills definitely helped me improve and appreciate drumming from a different perspective. Josh is a great teacher and a terrific drummer. He doesn't just teach rudiments/exercises from the lesson books. He shows how the rudiments can be used to make cool grooves and fills. Josh also pushed me to be more creative with my approaches to fills. All in all, my lessons with Josh were all great - I learned a lot from him!
