I adopted a 6 year old cat who has anxiety issues, I brought him in for the week after check up explaining this. The vet hadn't reviewed his medical records prior to my appointment. They said he would need $1200 worth of diagnostic tests and despite the animal hospital vet detailing all of his lengthy medical issues with anxiety, (and detailing bloodwork, flea treatment etc. which they also suggested I have done again) and said it was secondary and not the actual problem. They then handled him really roughly during the appointment. I did nearly $600 worth of testing and medicine to find out that he's okay. The technicians/vet aids explained things pretty clearly but the male doctor was pushing for more medicine/testing, seemed to be belittling when I asked questions back and never actually introduced himself so I was never able to get his name. He wasn't clear with communicating and listed off honestly a dozen causes for what could be the issue, instead of referring to his records or doing further physical examinations. I called the humane society where I got my cat to explain the situation and they said the vet should've seen that the humane society treated him for fleas etc, and that it'd be unnecessary to do all that testing again. The humane society apologized profusely for my experience and told me to find another vet.

I called to book an appointment for my dog and there voicemail says they are closed for the next 3 months. We were here a few weeks earlier with no notice of this and there was no email/call to let us know. I have emailed asking for my dogs information to change vet with no response.

The service from the Tech. Mariah was above and beyond, the female doctor took the time to explained in detail about my cat's surgery. We are very pleased. The male doctor is kind and I would like him to not make me wait, but even though. This is the place we like for our pets.

Run from this vet. Dr walia will treat your pet according to his financial needs not your pets needs.*And if you do not do what he wants you to do, he threaten to call the humane society on you*I took my cat there because of a cut on his cheek, who has 13 years of a long history vet care.He requested all his vet records and proceeded to try to do test and exams to address all of my cats previous health issues not the emergency care my pet needed.After refusing to do all the treatment he wanted to do ($700) he threatened to call the human society on me. He proceed to be extremely rude to the point that we were screaming because we would not do what he wanted to do. I have never been treated like this at any veterinary.After my experience I asked the local businesses around his clinic because i was shocked of his treatment, and I was not surprised to hear that they never ever recommend that place. I had the chance to speak to a former person that took her pet there as well and I she had a similar experience with him and never went back.Take your pet elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that will be more professional and actually do something good for your pet. And will not threaten to call the humane society on you.

Thanks to the Strausburg team, I can easily say they saved my cats life after being misdiagnosed at a different vet. He was hospitalized for almost 2 months and was spoiled with care and attention while there. Honest, caring and compassionate people. Our little fur family thanks you all for keeping us together!

Strasburg Hospital sedated my dog ​​for X-ray and asked her to keep sedated without any instruction, and to take her to the nearest hospital for more exams because he didn't have time (which he should have refused the service without doing an x-ray or sedating her), where she couldn't stand being sedated for so long. For this reason my dog died. In addition, when I arrived at the other hospital with my dog, the doctor said that Strasburg did not use a proper treatment and she overdosed because the sedative dose was too strong and irregular. Beware the cheaper places.

Brought my rabbit in to be spayed and the vet took great care of her, and she healed up with out any problems.I looked around for prices and they were the best price I found. I will be bringing more business to them for sure!

Dr Walia has always been a wonderful vet for our dog. This time he quickly diagnosed and treated the issue very quickly. Our dog loves him.

A thank you to Dr. Walia and Staff at Strasburg Animal Hospital for their tender, love and care while treating our 16 year old Chihuahua, Lola, who suffered from a prolapsed uterus after many years of making families happy with her sweet puppies. They prioritized her on the same day and acted quickly when we first noticed her issue, and did so at a reduced cost. Dr. Walia did the best he could, given her age, and was able to treat her well enough to give her a few more weeks with us until it was time to send her off. They provided us with a calm space and gentle care in her last moments and allowed us to have as much participation and closeness as necessary through the process. Thank you for all that you were able to do for us and Lola.

We called this vet on a late Friday afternoon for an emergency visit to have a tick removed from our dog. The doctor graciously allowed us to come immediately and he removed the tick, tested the dog and took his vital. We found his billing rate to be very reasonable compared to other veterinary clinics I've gone to previously. I was very pleased with the care he provided and will return with my little doggie again.
