The service at this restaurant was slow, with a 15 minute wait before ordering. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, unique breading compared to other Korean chicken places in town. However, the portion sizes were small for the price.

Food was good but came out pretty cold. Service was tooooo slow. It took 30 mins to just take the order and another 30 mins for the food to arrive and on top of it, it was cold, not even warm but cold. After complaining they did heat it for us. Staff is good, one can sense that but they are super slow. It must be a hectic day for them so will again give them a try. Asahi beer was so smooth and good. And I would recommend soy garlic green onion over the spicy chicken. Location of this restaurant is good but their furniture is not good at all, inside and patio both. Inside furniture looks like antique and patio furniture is very uncomfortable. They should upgrade that!!

This family-owned business offers exceptional Korean-style fried chicken! I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely husband and wife who run the establishment, and they are truly wonderful people. I highly recommend stopping by for a delightful serving of crispy chicken wings, particularly the Garlic Soy flavor. Despite not being from Kelowna and having flown in from Calgary, I found this place to be a fantastic option for late-night weekend dining. Kudos to CHOONGMAN CHICKEN for a job well done!

Was my first time at the store, went during lunch hours and the restaurant was empty and service was non existent. The staff didn't understand their own menu. I love Korean Fried Chicken from Chicko Chicken and wanted to try CM as they're new and had a 10% promotion going on. Turns out it is possible to make fried chicken taste off because they've nailed that. The only thing they do well is the white dipping sauce and their packaging. Service, quality of chicken and flavor was all poor.

Great menu - Great service - Great price! Can't believe how awesome the chicken was - best in town for me!!!My husband and I shared the Bacon Spinach Chicken and it was definitely enough for both of us to eat our fill - great portion size! I also tried the Dynamite Roll and it was delicious as well.Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu.The decor is very inviting and was impeccably clean. Service was great - very friendly. Fast service as well.Very impressed!

We actually were headed to the chicken place next door but it was closed, and now I just feel bad for that chicken place. In one of those great happy accidents, my husband and I went next door to CM chicken and we both feel it was the best chicken we have ever had, hands down. All of them. The snow onion chicken was the best, but they were all absolutely amazing, the least best chicken on that platter was award winning. Tender, juicy, no cartilage which often occurs with boneless chicken, perfect level of crunch, but the sauces and garnishes were really the stars. The pickled turnip on the side wasn't just taste but also kind of a palate cleanser between chicken types. Don't be fooled by the tater tots. You have to come here, get the chicken.

We ordered the soy garlic chicken. The food came out spicy when the menu said it shouldn’t have been. There’s a distinct spicy part of the menu, but this item wasn’t on there. The server said it comes with a little kick, but it was way more than just a kickOn top of that, it also came out cold. It was colder than the appetizers we got 10 mins ago. We told them and they took it back to microwave. It fixed the temperature a LITTLE bit, but now the meat is all sad a soggy. The food was not enjoyable at all. It was very disappointing :(

I missed getting Korean fried chicken from Vancouver and was dissatisfied with the other chicken places I tried here, so I gave this restaurant a shot and I’m very happy I did. I tried the rice cake skewers and it was perfectly crisp outside and soft inside. I LOVED all 3 fried chicken flavours that came with the triple combo plus there was more rice cake and a salad on the side.I highly recommend having soju on the side it will enhance the taste! Super happy with the staff as well
