Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston

Breakfast has too few options as compared to other decent hotels in Kingston.Some rooms have a funky smell.Luckily the service representative in the evening was great and she was able to swap my room due to the discomfort experienced.

We got two rooms and both were good. The friendliness of the staff, especially the receptionist, the young gentleman, and the team who helped with the breakfast, is notable. The place is clean and well maintained.

The hotel breakfast was an absolute zoo. The breakfast area was packed wall to wall with people and we had no hope of getting breakfast without an hour wait.As this was going on I watched an individual stand at the front of the line and toast an entire loaf of bread (maybe more? I counted at least 12 slices)for themselves and their family of 4. When they sat down their young children were not interested in this now cold bread.We came back an hour later to see if the line had died down, it hadn’t. But the stack of toast remained uneaten.People were hoarding mass amounts of food in fear of having to go to the back of the 40+ people line.Us and the rooms around us had no towels and had to contact the hotel staff multiple times before we received them.Exercise room only has medicine balls and a few cardio machinesThe hotel was nice, clean and modern. The room was spacious and nice.

Staying here for a soccer tournament and a group of girls chose my room to hang out in because it smelled the best" compared to their own musty rooms.Free breakfast is extremely limited

Paper thin walls, we are on the first floor, located right next to exit/enter outside door. We heard the quiet people to hockey players of young loud men and last, but let's not forget the late night drunks. The bed was comfortable and clean. Just very thin walls.

Rooms are okay but the breakfast is an absolute joke, they offer boiled eggs, bread, but you have to put them twice in the toaster and pancakes made with a machine that takes a minute for each piece, if you're in a line of 5 people you'll wait 10 min to get your first one, a coffee machine, some apples and that's it. Staff is like they're not there, slow, disinterested in attending the customers. Small pool but kind of nice. I wouldn't come back, there are a lot of better options in the same area.

We were booked for a weeks stay here and the 1st night was great no issues. On the 2nd night we had major issues with hockey teams. Not only the safety issues playing games by the elevator causing plp not to use it in case they got hit by a ball or kid. Running around through the corridors. Best of all, knocking on room doors until gone midnight and running off. Hope your happy! We checked out as the only single member of staff was helpless, shame on the management! There should have been at least 2 staff on duty to stop this outrageous behavior.Breakfast is supposed to be continental, I see nothing like that with only pancakes, toast, eggs some poor cereal choices and yogurt.Check out, I had to request a refund on my pre paid stay as the person who did was just going to take my card key and that was it. I even had to ask for the invoice. The room was clean and nice, apart from the ac unit blowing air in your face if you sleep on that side.The young lady on duty in the evening was great for all she could do. She herself is the only real positive I can say.

Not a bad place. Noise leve was bad. Kids scattered in the hallway couldn't get through the hallways. People drinking anywhere they want with no care about others staying here. Staff on the weekend did nothing to prevent any of it. My mother and one other lady had so much difficulty because no one would clear a path for them to walk. We asked for the 1st floor got 2nd floor. Also asked for queen size beds got doubles. One of the ladies is senior and has difficulty walking. This is not what we expected. More than likely will not stay here again

We stay in Kingston quite often as we live in Ottawa. We will not be returning to this hotel. The staff were hardly visible and when they were, they were on the phone. We forgot our bag of food in our hotel room. We called within an hour of leaving the hotel and they immediately told us that a few items were missing from the bag. When we picked our bag up, they had eaten our kids cookies and treats out of the bag. Our 2 and 3 year old were extremely upset. I am appalled at the behaviour. Who does that? Again, we will never return. There are quite a few hotels very close to this one. We have stayed at all of them and would definitely recommend choosing any other than this one.
