Jerusalem Grill & Shawarma
My second time at this restaurant. Last time I tried mix grilled platter which comes with lamb, beef and chicken and this time just beef kebab and chicken. Kebabs are served with side of rice or fries, salad, humus and garlic sauce and a pita bread. The taste is okay, not good not bad, there are other places in Surrey which have a very good taste comparatively and are my go to places, since this place is on the walking distance from my place so I just walk in but this is not something I would go to if I have ample time and not lazy to drive.

Went there last night first time to celebrate my son's birthday as we wanted to try something different. We came in, and no one greeted us. I made a reservation, so we just went to any table available since we've been standing for about 2-3 minutes and only one table is occupied. The server who took our order was ok. She's not friendly but also not rude. The other girl who served us doesn't know what she's doing. When I asked what the food she's serving so we could give to the one who ordered, she didn't know. Then she served the grape leaves or I think it's called dolmathe, it was very cold, like fresh from the fridge. I asked if it's supposed to be eaten cold or warm, and she didn't know. So we asked the other server and she said it's supposed to be warm not hot and I told her it's super cold so she took it and probably put in the microwave to warm it as now it's very hot. I dont know what it's supposed to taste but we don't like it, you can hardly taste any meat and again the leaves are dry. It only looks wet because of the steam from the microwave, maybe. The grilled chicken and skewers were very, very dry. They served the pita bread after I asked for fried pita. She came with a basket of pita bread, and I asked if this comes with the food, and she said yes. This was already halfway to our dinner. I also asked for hot water for my mom, and she gave us cold water. The chef came to greet us but wasn't really engaging. The falafel is super dry. The baclava I know was supposed to be swimming in syrup, but this was hard and dry. All in all, it wasn't a really good dining experience, and unfortunately, We're not going back. I also wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends as it will just be a waste of money.

First time going here. It was very clean inside. I had a veggie pita and fries. Very fresh and tasty. Sauces on pita were nice and not too heavy. Loved the fresh cut fries.

Hurts me to make this review as I loved going to this place, however certain aspects have changed lately. Plated meals used to come with drinks no matter what and now as June 2023 they are an extra charge. The rice they used to use has now changed as the flavour doesn’t hit the same. The wrap combos are still good value but I can’t recommend this place like I used to and it hurts me to say to.

Naz is the best! So hospitable and truly cares about his customers. Went way beyond the second mile for myself and my friends. Also the food was fantastic. If you think you like shwarma, you'll love this!

I wish we could give 100 stars. This food was so tasty and fresh. We opted for the Jerusalem Platter. So much food and such a great price. Service was great. So happy we found this little unsuspecting place. All prices include the drink and fresh pita

The service was nice but the meal was terrible. Ordered a mix plate and barely had any meat on it. More than half the plate was salad. Fries were a bit cold don't know why. And the garlic sauce was unbelievably sharp. A disappointing meal. I've been to other Jerusalem shawarma places and this is definitely not worth visiting.
