The free full-time French classes here are amazing and you can stay as long as you want. Doesn't matter if you're new to the province or were born here. All the students end up really close, very fast, so it feels like one big happy family and the teachers really care about the students and they focus on Québec French and Québec culture. Lots of fun excursions too! I think the only thing I paid for was a $40 workbook, but if you're on unemployment I think you don't even pay for that. Can't say enough good things about these courses and the teachers!

The teacher I had was nice, but everyone working there was rude. The advisor I had was rude, didn’t answer to her emails, forgot to send me my schedule (so I had to show up to school to know when I was starting because she didn’t want to talk on the phone and learned I was supposed to be in a class at that moment), gave me bad advice and changed my class schedule without telling me. They were completely inconsiderate about the fact that I also work and I’m in uni.

One teacher that I had was disrespectful to adult students. Her attitude was rude and keep teaching her own way, it doesn’t look like she wants to teach French to the students. She even looks like she’s always tired to teach us. I was at level 1 class, and she was mean to the students who can’t understand. I won’t continue the class anymore, but I will go other school if I want to learn French.

I had this teacher in french who is arrogant and is very proud of himself. He even insults students. Teachers should be the one inspiring the students to learn the language, but he is completely the opposite. I guess that is really the defence mechanism of tiny people. He has to know his class is completely boring and his voice is monotonous.

My daughter loves this school and its teachers. It is the first time she feels accepted. Also, the math teacher is excellent and takes more time to ensure she understands. Only issue I have is the disrespectful receptionist or secretary Respect goes two ways. I have left a message at the school and still no return call.

This school is a very convenient one in terms of location, space, infrastructure and playground. Also the best school for the new immigrants to learn French language. Well experienced and very familiar teachers, much cooperative administrative team and much more extra curricular activities are the reasons why there is the least dropped out from school. Recurrently occurring outing program can give a awesome experience and opportunity to learn history, culture, lifestyle of the society for the new immigrants.

This school is not bad it has starter courses for immigrants to integrate into the province by teaching them the french language the culture and the values of the province. My review will focus mainly on the Secondary part though. As a former student in special education, Finding a school for me was a struggle once put inside of Outremont I found my place the staff is quiet and friendly classes start at 8:15 and end at around 3:30 in the afternoon the students have to teach themselves they all have a book with theories followed by exam each book is around 100-175 pages long and they all bring you a number of credits, for example, the first math book will give you 1 credit and the two final books will give you 2 credits. They also have exams that can give you a level depending on your year for example if you're in secondary 1 in a subject and do a level test you can go to secondary 4-5 (Test De Mise a Niveau) they also have T.E.N.S (Tests d’équivalence de niveau de scolarité) which is a 6 month program that gets you a secondary 5 equivalence. Classes usually last around two hours and you have 3 topics too choose from in your schedule. Phone usage is allowed in class. And fees for books must be paid all programs are recognized by the ministry of education and superior studies.
