This store is ALWAYS worth the trip from Winnipeg..prices are very reasonable. They change selection with the seasons.Some very interesting Gimli themed greeting cards.. something for everyone in this store.

Staff always friendly and helpful, merchandise offered is unique and interesting, great book collection as well as clothing. The store has that authentic old school General Store" feel. Items reasonably priced as well. We have purchased several items from here

Very beautiful store- one of the oldest buildings in Gimli. Staff was good- helpful. The only thing is the cost of everything. Socks go for 30 dollars and not wool ones either. People on budgets like seniors or a single parent couldnt be able to afford things from this cute cozy lovely store. Jeans for anywhere from 150 to 200 dollars.

Was in the store today and purchased a book about bird watching. 19.99$ was on the sticker and back of the cover. Brought to the till and did the tap payment….low and behold the book was 29$ when I checked my receipt at the door on my way out. I quickly went back and asked the clerk to adjust the price to match the sticker price….they then call over the manager on duty or senior staff and was given a refund instead of the posted price of the book. The staff did what I’m guessing in the store policy when someone calls them out on a price discrepancy……..Im really glad I support the local business when they act in such a manner.The younger people working the store are great!….just don’t like the misleading pricing, so check your receipts folks.

This place is always worth the visit. They have a little of everything. Most things are different and not found in most stores. I always find stuff I can use. I could spend hours just walking around checking thing out.
